Y/n's POV

It's late at night and all I want to do is go back home to be wrapped in my boyfriend's arms. For the past six months, I have been working on a new album to publish for my fans because they deserve it. I have been working early mornings and late nights for an entire month which caused my schedule and Cole's to not clash well. The most time we had together was the first three weeks and after all that, the only interactions we had were pecks on the lips before I leave and before I sleep. We may have not been with each other that much but I know that he loves me and I love him.

I may be tired but I can't help but feel excited to spend time with him. Tonight, I have been doing the finishing touches on the songs to make sure that it will come out perfect. I'm nearly finished and all I had to do was to add extra background vocals on the last three tracks. I entered the booth and started adding in the vocals. I released all that's left of me out my mouth and my voice bounces off the soundproofed walls. I edited the tracks and listened to each one of them thrice before agreeing to myself that they all sound perfect.

I raise my arms and stretch to hear my bones cracking. I let out a yawn and finished the cup of coffee I had sat on the desk. I glanced at the clock on the wall and my eyes bulged out. It is currently one in the morning and I didn't expect me to work on the three track for two hours. I let out a yawn and I stood up before jumping up and down to gain my consciousness. I grabbed all my belongings and turned all the lights off before locking up my studio.

I walked to the bathroom and when I reached my destination, I started splashing water on my face. I couldn't risk my life by driving sleepily. After I finished my business in the bathroom, I hurried off to the elevator, pressing the buttons. My body slouched slightly as I walked out of the building and to my car.

I started the car and drove out of the parking lot. I turned the volume up on the radio and sang quietly to the songs. I took a left turn and entered the main road. After five minutes, I turned right and was met by the street of the apartment building Cole and I stay in. I slowed down the speed as I entered the underground parking lot.

Taking out my keys and belongings, I stepped out the car and head to the elevator. Pressing the button of Cole and I's apartment floor, I fumbled with the apartment keys. The elevator doors opened and I stepped out, walking over to the all too familiar dark oak door.

I pushed the keys in the key hole and it opened with a click. I pushed the door open and was met with dim lights and the bright lights of the television in the living room. Quietly, I closed the door behind me and tiptoed to the living room to be met by Cole sleeping quietly.

I smiled and frowned at the same time at the sight of him. Smiling at how cute he looks while sleeping and frowning at the fact that he waited for me to come home late at night. I sighed softly and placed my stuff on the coffee table before swiping Cole's bangs up and pressing a soft kiss on his forehead. I lingered my lips on his forehead and as I pulled away, I was met with beautiful green eyes staring into my y/e/c orbs.

"Hey, your back. Were you here the entire time? I'm sorry, I must have passed out." Cole rasped out with a pout.

"I'm here, baby. I just came back five minutes ago. It's okay, Cole. I'm sorry I woke you up." I said while caressing his cheek.

"No, no. It's alright, Y/n. You must be tired." Cole said as he saw scanned my face with his green eyes.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me, get some sleep, okay?"

"No, Y/n. Wait here and I'll prepare you a warm bath for you to relax after a long day after work." Cole said as he pushed me gently on the couch to sit.

He left me in the living room as he rushed to the bathroom. After a few minutes, he came back and stood in front of me with a smile on his face. He offered his hand to me and I gladly took it. Leading me to the bathroom, I noticed how there were candles lighting up the way there.

We entered the bathroom and I saw a bath filled with bubbles and pink rose petals. A bottle of champagne in a bucket along with two glasses sat on the corner of the tub. Looking over to the bathtub tray, there sat a big bowl of strawberries and another bowl of melted milk chocolate. Surrounding the bathroom was candles that were lighting up, giving me a calm and relaxing vibe. I faced Cole and grinned at him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him, mumbling in his chest, "Thank you so much, Cole."

"You're always welcome, baby. You deserve it. Now, come on. The bath might go cold." He said and started stripping off his clothes.

I followed after him and we carefully entered the bath. I laid my back on his chest, and he started pouring the champagne on the glasses. He handed me one and I sighed in relaxation. I felt his hand caressing my thigh as he spoke, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am. Thank you so much, baby." I said and turned my face to him to give him a kiss.

He took a strawberry and dipped it in the chocolate before holding up in front of me. I opened my mouth and took a bite, moaning at the sweet taste.

"Thank you so much."

"Of course, sweetheart. Anything for you."

We sat and laid there in the bath, giggling about the most random things. I faced him and smiled at him as he talked about what happened to him and KJ the other day. He stopped, and he raised a brow, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"What do you mean?" I asked innocently.

"Like that."

"I just love you so much, Cole." I said as I pressed my lips on his before leaning back again.

His eyes softened and a grin plastered on his face, "I love you so much more, Y/n."

"Oh, Cole?"

"Yes?"

"I'm free now." I faced him to see him furrow his eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?" He asked while tilting his head to the side.

I leaned my face closer to him and cupped his face, "I'm finally finished with my album. I'm free."

A huge grin plastered on his face once more before he leaned in to give me a kiss, "I'm so happy right now, you know that?"

"I know. I love you so much, Cole."

"I love you more than anything in this world, Y/n. I love you so much." Cole then pressed a kiss on my lips, and we enjoyed the rest of the night in each other's arms.
