Chapter 13

"So Damien knows that you know where we are together and he said that he's just a tiny bit scared that you know. Mainly scared of you." I finished stapling some streamers to the doorways and hopped off the latter. I watched as she glanced at me and signed some papers.

"Scared of me? What would he possibly be cared for?" She asked and I just crossed my arms.

"We were having a facetime call the other day and he heard you, expressly say that you would castrate him if that was allowed and legal." She shrugged and picked up some balloons and threw them to the left.

"Well, I think it's a fine idea for that to happen." I pushed my hair up with my hand and laughed.

"I think he's a little intimidated. Just please don't attack him." She shrugged as if she was telling me no promises. I rolled my eyes and checked the time. It was a full five hours before everything started. Of course, we had to explain that we all couldn't go out like normal, usually, we would have a lot more 'wolfy' things going on but I had requested to keep it down until tomorrow so I can ease him into it.

"Oh mom, I saw that more guards were patrolling the areas for like the past week or so?"

"Oh, yes. For some reason, there has been an influx of rogues in the area and for some reason, they have all been making their way into the borders but we've been getting them one by one. It's nothing to worry about at the moment. If they don't attack in a large number then I think we're all good. But if that happens we'll have to go into temporary lockdown and gather everyone who has training that has finished and will have to help unless stated otherwise."

"You know I could always help with matters like that." I know she loved the title and the job as Alpha female and I knew I would have to take over for her after I was old enough and had a mate, but I didn't want to strip her of something she loved.

"Like I don't have to take over for a long while if you don't want me to but I want to be able to help with stuff like this." She sighed as she signed off on the music and turned to me.

"I know that I just want you to be able to be you for the longest you can be." She laced her hand onto my cheek and nodded.

"Now go on, I hear your friends coming in, okay? Go have some fun while you get ready." I touched her hand and kissed her cheek.

"Happy birthday mom."

I walked out to see Charlie hitting Sasha with a teddy bear.

"What's the damage?" I asked and Lisa was over by a tree laughing her ass off.

"These two whores were caught making out in my car after I said NO!"

"Every time these two makeout it leads to sex and I don't like sex in my car and I don't need any of it." They set their teddy bear down and Sasha flicked Charlie off.

"You said no sex, not kissing." She exclaimed and she threw her hands up.

"Lisa your ass is next after, but you won't see it coming!" Lisa was slowly walking back to the car and I rolled my eyes.

"So guys, you know that I'll be telling Damien about everything tonight." I tuck my thumbs and Charlie nodded, throwing their arms over me.

"Yes, I do suggest you don't eat your skin in front of him because I think that'll ruin him." I planted a hand on Charlie's face and pushed them over.

"I just need ideas that won't scare him for the rest of his life and I just need to know what the best course of action is about telling him that I should change him." Charlie got into the driver's seat and turned to me.
