Kit's brother is getting married. He pressures Kit into bringing a date.
Ming is also in a similar situation - as Kit's brother is marrying Ming's best friend.
Kit has severe anxiety.
Ming is a social butterfly.

"Kitty, are you bringing a date? We need to finalize the guest amount," Joong asked as he walked into Kit's room where he was studying with Pha and Beam.
"I'm going alone," Kit said.
"What about bringing Ming?" Beam asked.
"I didn't think he'd want to go with me..." Kit said and Joong laughed.
"He's been whining the last couple days asking why you haven't asked him to go with you. He wants to go, he just wants you to ask him out," Joong said.
"Why should I ask him?" Kit was confused.
"The man loves you Kit. It's pretty obvious," Pha said.
"I thought you guys were dating already," Beam said.
Kit didn't speak much after that. But once everyone left he called Ming.
"Can I come over?" Kit asked. He was extremely nervous and Ming could tell something was up.
"Sure, I'm out picking up dinner right now. Do you like sushi?" Ming asked.
"Yeah, it's my favorite," Kit smiled.
"Alright Kitty. I'll be home in about twenty minutes, you can come over then," Ming said and the call ended.
Kit smiled and got dressed - oversized hoodie a pair of jeans - before grabbing his things and leaving the house.

He put his helmet on, grabbed his board and rode to Ming's dorm.

Kit had just gotten to Ming's when the other arrived with their dinner.
"I didn't make you wait too long?" Ming asked and Kit helped him carry a few bags.
"I just got here," Kit said and grabbed his board, following Ming to his dorm.
The two boys ate and talked for a bit before going up to Ming's room to watch a movie. Kit cuddled up next to Ming. Ming was smiling, he loved how cute Kit was; even without trying.
"You're so cute," Ming just smiled and kissed the top of Kit's head.
Kit was surprised by Ming's comment. He hears that he's cute a lot, but it felt better coming from Ming.
"You're cute too," Kit wasn't the best at compliments, but Ming thought that made him even cuter.
"Are you going to JoongNine's wedding?" Kit asked as a wedding scene in the movie came on.
"I am, Joong asked me to be his best-man," Ming said and Kit smiled.
"I'm Nine's best-man," Kit said.
"Um... Would you... Want to be my date? For the wedding," Kit mumbled a bit - he was too nervous to ask.
Ming looked down at Kit and kissed his forehead.
"I'd love too," Ming smiled and hugged Kit.
Kit just smiled and hugged Ming tightly before slowly falling asleep...
