I was standing in the middle of a field. The sky was blue and the sun was warm. Birds sang as they flew around with the butterflies. The wind ruffled my hair and the white dress I was wearing. I smiled and walked through the field.
"Addy! Over here!" someone yelled.

I turned and saw a smiling Ben. Ben waved me over. I began to run. I ran to Ben and he hugged me. He picked me up and spun me around. Once he set me down there was a thunder clap. I jumped.
"Haha, Addy. Still a jumper," Ben laughed.
"Shut up!" I smiled, shoving his chest.

Ben grinned. Then i remembered. Ben wasn't alive and this was some drug induced nightmare. But how is this a nightmare?, I wondered.
"Addy, what are you thinking about?" He asked.

I looked up at Ben. His eyes then turned red. His hair grew out into long dreadlocks. A black hat plopped onto his head. He laughed. It wasn't Ben anymore. It was that Demon.

"Hello there, Addy," the demon grinned.
"Where's Ben?" I asked warily.
"Behind you," he said pointing.
I turned around to see Ben in a chair. His eyes were big and had his mouth taped shut. I blinked and I was strapped into a chair.
"Oh how fun! The two of you together. Baby Ben and Little Addy," the demon said holding his hands.

Ben struggled in the chair, making the demon laugh.
"Let us go," Ben spat.
"Mmm...no. I think we should have a little fun," the demon said.
He began to circle us. Looking at me then at Ben, and back at me. The demon snapped and smiled evilly. Suddenly, Ben was in front of me. He was still in the chair, just in front of me.
"So..first I think I'll just..." the demon said.

The demon snapped his fingers and Ben screamed. I didn't understand what was happening. Ben wasn't bleeding and the demon was standing next to him. I struggled against the chair. The demon smiled wider and Ben screamed louder. Ben wasn't screaming, he was wailing. Everything merged together. Ben's screaming face was the last thing i saw. Then everything went black. I gasped and i was back in the institution. My eyesight was blotchy and i fell on the floor. Tears poured down my cheeks.

"Adeline? Adeline, are you alright?" Dr. Harmon asked.

"Does it look like i'm alright!?" I sobbed.

I sat up and looked up at everyone. Alec had his arm around Grace. Dr. Harmon was taking notes and Felix was watching me. Felix was shaking slightly, his brown eyes were wide.

"Adeline, you have to tell me what happened," Dr. Harmon said sternly.

"...I was with Ben. Then that demon from yesterday showed up. He tortured Ben...Ben was screaming...it was awful," I said, the tears still fell.

"..Ben...Ben Parks? Benjamin Parks? How do you know him?" Dr. Harmon asked, standing up.

"He's my brother...why?" i asked.

"I was his doctor as well. He used to tell us about you. Ben had this fear that you were gonna be like him and that you were gonna be sent here too. He told us if you ever came here, we wouldn't hurt you...about a year ago he sent me an e-mail. He said he was seeing 'the demon' again. I asked for him to come back...then we got an e-mail from your mother that he was dead," Dr. Harmon explained, she started to walk around.

"The demon said he messed with Ben," I said, standing up.

"Yeah...apparently he did...that's enough for today...you three go. Alec stay with me. The rest of you can go to the commons or walk outside for a bit. But be back in your room by six for results," Dr. Harmon said, opening the door for us.

Alec kissed Grace and she stood up. The three of us all walked out together. Felix walked close to me and Grace was on my other side. Grace was sniffling and had her arms crossed. I stopped and they did too. Grace looked at me quizzically. Her face was red and her eyes were puffy. I walked up to her and hugged her. She started to cry. Her tears fell on my shoulder. I told her it was okay. Grace is too innocent for this. She shouldn't be here. She should be in high school. Living her life and having fun. Not here and living in fear. I let go and we kept walking down the hallway.

We ended up taking a walk outside. Felix was quiet. More quiet than I thought was possible. Grace walked over to a garden and walked through it. I nudged him and he looked at me. I tried smiling which turned into a strange smile, frown. Felix laughed a little.

"You okay?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"Not really," Felix said, running his fingers through his hair.

"What'd you see?" I asked warily, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"It was...being alone. It started off with me being with all the people i love and care about. We were all laughing and having a good time. Then everyone vanished. I couldn't get out. There was no way of getting out. I was completely alone," Felix said, his voice shaking a little.

"Oh," I said quietly.

"Its, eh..." Felix said, looking down at me.
