Chapter 2 - True Source Of A Women's Power!

First Point of View

My hand was holding onto Noi's as we walked through the glassed barrier. Lief and Pierce were waiting for us as of while Prince Asch was looking around. It was silent as Rhys met up with us, walking forward as our eyes wondered over the whole new change of environment.

And of course, when we're placed in a whole new different environment, we're met with its climate. I felt the temperature rise up as I started to sweat, my body could probably be cought on fire by this point!! The newfound heat made me collapse onto the hard floor, barely giving out a gasp in surprise.

I heard Noi scream as Rhys asked what's going on. Immediately everyone was affected by it as they all knelt. Noi mumbled something that I couldn't catch as I watched him crawl forward towards the shade. I stayed put, gasping for cool air, though sadly all my lungs were filled with more heat. My hair was sticking to my neck, my (F/C) cloak to my body as I was drenched with sweat.

"S-Stay calm..." I heard Pierce mutter, being responded back by Rhys, "Wise advice, Pierce. The affect is wearing down slowly, but still the air has some toxicity to it."

'I swear to the gods, if I end up on fire, I'm gonna--'

"Or maybe the humans here expected us coming!" said Noi, a bit of an attitude laced with anger as he spoke. "Humans aren't that smart, Noi. There's no way," Lief deadpanned.
I took my chances and took off my cloak, just like Rhys said, the effects were wearying down slowly. My skin felt like it was on fire, though much less now that a gentle breeze brushed past me.

"PRINCE ASCH!" Rhys yelled. Alarmed, I looked at where he stood. Or well- layed down. Unconcious. Probably dead. Hopefully just sleeping???

I slowly stood up once more, brushing off the bits of dirt that has been cought on my skin as I took a step forward. Only that I collapsed once more, giving out an annoyed grunt as I then yelled, "we need to reach him, though in our weakened state we won't go as far!!" "Yeah, its heavy," Rhys responded.
"We! Need! To! Heal! Asch!!" Lief grunted, taking baby steps forward.

Rhys collapsed to the floor, "it's hard to move!" "We know that!" I yelled. I was growing impatient as I crawled my way towards the shadows where Lief and Noi stood/sat. Something was holding me down, this world's gravity was far heavier than the one back at Daemos. How do humans survive under these conditions?!

Immediately as I wondered that, a new voice spoke up, "H-Hey! Are you guys alright?" I snapped my neck towards the direction of the new voice, my eyes widened as I slowly stood up once more. Barely keeping myself up as I gripped onto Noi's shoulders for support.
"Crap! It's a human!" Rhys yelled once more. 'Is Rhys okay? He's been yelling quite a lot in a short amount of time..' I thought to myself.

Noi grunted, his hands keeping my own hands in place as he then whispered, "it's got us cornered!"
"Don't show weakness," Pierce adviced us. "Yeah because a human seeing us like this will totally not make them think that we're vulnerable," I mumbled back. "Yeah, we can barely move!" Lief agreed.
"Be strong, hold your stances," Pierce continued.

"Are you guys okay?" the human asked once more. I helped Noi stand up as we all looked at the female. Black hair, hot pink eyes, a lighter shade of pink on her attire. Along with a bit of black- I think??
"Uh- you guys got, like, diarrhea or something?? I-I--" the human gasped as she looked at something- or well, someone. "Oh my God, are you alright??" The human ran over to where Prince Asch stood.
