As the Night Pride came towards the end of their Patrol before the Lion guard took over patrolling for the day, growls and evil cackling could be heard.
The sound just got louder the further they traveled down the mountain pass. As the Night Pride reaches the source of the sound they realised they were too late, Mama Bitaroung, Makucha, Chuluun and Ora had already cleared the mountain pass.
Despite the fatigue of the night pride they weren't going to surrender the tree of life to these predators. The queen of the Night Pride tried to think of a plan to stop them.
"That's the 4th day in a row they've attacked at sunrise." Surak mentioned as they prepared to change down to fight them off.
However before they could charge off to engage a shout was head from the other side of the hill. "That's why we're here" Kion called as the lion guard came running over the hill to engage with the enemy.
(Because I'm lazy and don't wanna right the whole scene you know what happened)
Once sending the predators running back down the mountain pass with their tails between their legs, they regrouped with the night pride reserving compliments on their work.
"That's right the Lion guard's fiercest is back" Bunga proclaimed happily.
However that same joy didn't run through Kion
"Bungaaa..." He replied embarrassed by his best friend.
Before having his thoughts interrupted by Nirmala stepping forward. "Actually Bunga's right...Your healing is complete." She informed him. This announcement was met with a few cheers from his team or as he better called them his friends.
Once this news had been delivered the night pride headed off to get rest before they continue their patrol when night comes. However without an explanation of where and why he was going Kion left Fulj in charge of the Lion guard as he went off to do something. As he left his friends where confused but shrugged it off not to worried as they had faith in him.
