'Hoammm' I yawned. I got up and checked my phone. 'Wow! 6.30, not bad, let's wake mom and dad up, maybe we can go swim' I thought. I stretched a bit to relax my muscles. Then I woke mom and dad up.

" Cannonball! " I yelled. Cold water splashed everywhere.

" Ugh Chloe! It's the second time you've splashed water to the griller and killed the burning flames! " Mom protested.

" Whoops, sorry mom! " I replied and I swam away.

I swam and stopped right at the place where I killed my sister. All the dark memories came flashing by. I wished I never pulled Carol.

I got out of the lake and changed. Dad was already breaking the tent down and packing them. Mom was packing the food. She also made breakfast. Tea and some hotdogs. We ate that fine breakfast, the atmosphere was filled with joy and happiness. We all knew the holiday was going to end, but it ended good, and full of experience.

After we finish eating, I help to pack everything. We have to fit them all into bags again. In half an hour we finished packing. We lifted our bags and placed them on our shoulders. We hiked back to the car parking lot.

Didn't take us long, only half an hour hike. We loaded all the stuff into our car and went in. Dad drove us back home.

" Ahhh, home sweet home " I said. When we got in our house. All of us went straight to business. Dad put the camping gear away. Mom tidied all the food leftovers. While I unpacked everyone's clothing, and put the dirty ones in the machine. After we finished unpacking, we all went to bed. A little nap couldn't hurt right?

" Chloe, wake up, gotta prepare dinner, " mom said. I got up. I was gonna wake Carol up but then I realized. She's gone. For good.

I got up and showered. I put on my pajamas and headed downstairs.

" Mom, what are we having today? " I asked.

" We're having mashed potatoes and cheesecake, " Mom replied. Sweet! Cheesecake! I love cheesecake, I mean, who doesn't, the crunchiness of the cookies, the sweet creamy taste of the cheese, and the fresh, cold flavour of the homemade blueberry jam. The best!

I raced down to the dining room and we started eating.

" When are you going back to college Chloe? " Dad asked.

" In 2 weeks, I still have a lot of time here, maybe I will go around the city with some friends, I don't know " I replied, long and clear.

Dad nodded. We continued eating. It was a pretty merry dinner

" Maybe we should take some trips? " Mom asked.

" I'd love to do that! " I exclaimed.

" Woah, no-can-do ladies, I gotta go back to work, " Dad said.

" Maybe we can go together mom? " I asked.

" Sure, girls time!!! " She squealed.

" Hey! That's unfair! " Dad said. We all laughed.

After dinner ended I went to my room and lied in bed while playing my phone.

I have to tell mom. That thought keeps running in my head.

After an hour of thinking, I came up with a conclusion. I guess I gotta tell mom. I went down the attic stairs and headed to mom's room.

*knock *knock

" Come in! " Mom said.

" Mom, I gotta tell you something, " I said looking down. I felt very ashamed of myself.

" Yes, what honey? " Mom asked.

" Um, about the Carol incident, when she drowned... actually.. I am the one who drowned her " I said. My heart was beating so fast. My mom told me to not consider everything as a joke. I just made a massive mistake.
