All Because of a Camping Trip

 " Welcome back Chloe! How was your trip home? " Marie asked.

" Great, though we had a bit of a problem... I'll tell you later in our dorm " I said. I headed to the North Wing and went to our dorm.

" I'll help unpack, " Marie offered.

" Thanks, " I said.

We started taking my clothes one by one and hanging them in my closet. We put the shoes on the shelf, the accessories in my vanity, the bathing equipment in the bathroom, and the books in the bookshelf.

In a matter of time, we were done. Marie boiled some water and made tea. Then we talked.

" So, tell me what happened, " Marie said. She sipped her tea.

" So, we were camping, then I swam with my little sister, then, I tried to joke around, I pulled her leg and held her underwater for a minute straight, without me realizing, her body got lighter and lighter, slowly she began to sink and I lifted her up, I told my mom she drowned, my parents took her to the doctor and they told me she couldn't be saved, I told my mom the truth and I got kicked out, I was very furious, but I know it's my fault, now I don't want to have contact with them again!" I said. I let out a long breath and sipped my tea. Perfect taste! You can feel the sweet but there is also the bitter, I don't know how Marie does this!

" Um, I mean you did do something wrong, but they shouldn't kick you out directly, I don't know, sorry but for now I can't give you any advice " Marie sighed.

" It's fine, thanks for the tea by the way, it was delightful " I said. I lied in bed and shutted my eyes, time for a quick nap after my 5 hour flight.

Hmmmm.. Smells great! I got up. The smell around the room was very tempting. I could smell something being fried. Smells heavenly! I got up and showered. Then I investigated the source of that exquisite smell. First I tried to sniff the source of the smell. I knew it was from the kitchen. I directly headed there.

" Marie? " I asked.

" Yea? I'm making dinner, fried chicken with my homemade mozzarella sauce, how does that sound? " Marie replied.

" Sounds great! " I exclaimed. My stomach rumbled. I was getting more and more excited for dinner.

" Dinner's ready! " exclaimed Marie. I dashed to the kitchen and sat down at the dining chair.

" Happy eating! " I said.

" Enjoy! " Marie replied. I will definitely enjoy it.

I ate the meal fast. After that I went outside and went to the cafes near my college, I was in search of a job. Now that I can't get money from my parents anymore, I have to find a way to receive an income of my own. Thankfully, a cafe right next to my college, they accepted me and now I finally have a job! I go there everyday after classes finish.

Then I lie back in bed. My eyes were getting very heavy. I felt full, when you are full, it's the best time to sleep. So, in the end, I slept again.
