" Mom! Dad! " Marie squealed. She ran to her parents and hugged them tight. " Thanks so, so, so much for all you have done for me! Words can not express how grateful I am to be standing here right now, I love you guys! "
I teared up a bit. I was kinda jealous seeing how close Marie is to her parents. They have an unbreakable bond that everyone wishes they can have. Everyone headed to their parents. I was lost, I feel like I was in a maze and there was no way out. I made my letter already, but who should I give it to?
" Chloe! Over here! " Someone shouted.
I glanced at the source of that voice.
Mom?
I saw a woman, taller than me, she ran to me and hugged me tight. I could feel it! The warm hug.
" Chloe! " A loud pitched scream said. Suddenly another hug came. From the bag.
" Oh I've missed you so much! " The person said.
Carol? What? I thought she was dead.
" Hey Chloe! " A low voice said.
Dad?
They all hugged me tight. I missed that feeling. That warmth feeling. I almost forgot how cozy and comforting it felt to be in their hug. That pleasant feeling!
" Hey Chlo! " Another girl shouted.
Huh? I glanced at the voice.
" Oh my! Am I dreaming? " I said to myself.
Lila came to my graduation, along with her, there was Alan, my all time crush, Vin, Maya, and Gwen. All my mates!
" Lila! " I squealed.
I ran to her and hugged her tight.
" Congratulations my dear friend! " Lila said.
" Thanks so much for all you've done for me! I would never have made it this far without your help! " I said. I could feel more tears coming. Ugh! I'm such a crybaby.
" Your welcome Chloe! Anything for my bestie " Lila replied.
I hugged my friends one by one. Alan too.
Then, I looked at my parents.
" Mom, I don't know if I am supposed to still call you that, but, how is Carol here? " I asked.
" Wait? What do you mean? " Carol asked.
" They said you were dead, " I replied.
Chloe looked at my so-called parents. They were quivering with fear.
" Is this true? " Carol asked. That question was appointed to my parents.
They sighed.
" Carol, Chloe, we are so sorry, Chloe drowned you Carol and we wanted to teach her a lesson, maybe losing her sister would be awful, but it definitely would teach her a lesson, we didn't know Chloe would get so hurt until she would lose contact with us. We tried to call her and tell the truth but she kept declining, "
" Oh, so it's my fault now! " I snapped. I was getting more and more furious.
" We're truly sorry, we found out today you are graduating, and we had to come and see our beloved daughter graduate " Dad explained.
I don't know what to say, I just froze there like a statue. I should be happy, but then there's this inner voice that urges me to be mad at my parents.
" We're so sorry Chloe, we didn't know a little lie can get this far " Mom said.
That's it. I'm done.
" And I suppose you guys expect me to forgive you? " I said sternly.
" Well, we don't but we just want to fix and maybe build our relationship back together? " Mom said with a pleading face.
" I guess, " I said. " Well I'm just glad you're here "
Mom and Dad smiled. Carol ran to me and hugged me tight. Lila and all my friends also ran and hugged me. We had a BIG group hug.
" Well, what are we waiting for? Let's party! It's your graduation after all " Lila said. The session of talking with the parents is done. We are going to leave and go our separate ways after this. I walked to Marie and hugged her tight.
" Thanks for everything Marie, all your advice, your support, your companions, I'm gonna miss you so much " I said.
Marie hugged me.
" I'm gonna miss you too Chloe " Marie said. " Bye! Me and my parents will go, good luck! Take care! "
I waved my hands.
" So, what shall we do now? " I asked.
" We should go have lunch, all of us together, " Mom said.
All my friends nodded in agreement.
