Episode 11: Dance With Me

Red rose petals spread on the floor. Dim yellow lights that give light to the modern home's dining area. And a table set up for two. With two plated truffle pasta, each with a piece of beef tenderloin topped with mushroom cream sauce. Two wine glasses. Bottled champagne that Bin has chosen from the shopping they had earlier in between the two plates, as well as the vanilla cake with flower fondant on top. The dinner set-up is perfectly established, together with Bin's jazz playlist playing on the phone he left on the counter near the dining table. 

Bin just finished taking a quick bath. He had to dress himself up as well. He got tired from all the cooking he did, but every time he thought that he has prepared it as his third surprise for his woman today, his tiredness just shoves away, and all he'll ever want is to make this night very much special most especially for her. He put on his black long sleeves polo and paired it with grayish-brown trousers. He combed up his hair and sprayed on his favorite clean scent before heading out of the room that was previously occupied by his girlfriend's parents. 

Yejin was taking all the time to herself since she knew Bin needs more time to prepare because he will be cooking tonight's dinner. She wanted to help though, but he asked her to rest, and prepare for the night until he knocks on her door. Once she finished washing, she just sat in front of the vanity mirror and scrolled through her Instagram account; reading posts of her supporters, and friends greeting her a happy birthday. 

Once she heard the door close from the next room in front of hers, she decided to start putting on a little make up on her face. She didn't need much, as always, but she wanted to make a different look for this special night. She started patting unto her face the BB cream from her cushion, brushed in a mocha shade eyeshadow, curled her eyelashes, and swiped on her favorite lipstick shade from Jennyhouse. She wore her new Versace dress and sprayed her aromatic floral perfume scent. It was seconds later when she heard a knock on the door. 

"Yejin-ssi?" She heard his voice outside the door. 

"Wait, coming!" She then took a last glance in front of the vanity mirror, before walking to the door.

Once the door has opened, they stood in front of one another, looked at each other from head to toe, and examined how their outfits matched one another. 

They were both astonished by the looks they both prepared for themselves just for their date tonight. 

Bin offered his hand, "Shall we go now and head to our dinner date, Miss Son Ye Jin?" He formally asked.

Yejin giggled and took that hand. "Let's go, mister! How long will it take us to get there?" 

"Hmm? Maybe it will take us 17 minutes, one minute for each step on this staircase." Bin jokingly said.

They were hand in hand, walking down the staircase, heading to the dining area of the guesthouse where he has prepared a romantic date night set up. They passed through a wide rectangular mirror at the living area and saw their own reflections- all glammed up. 

"Don't you think we look too formal and too fancy for a dinner at this guesthouse's dining room?" Yejin asked Bin's reflection in the mirror.

He glanced a look at her and put a missing strand of her hair behind her ear. Leaned forward and whispered to her, "We actually do." that was followed by a laugh by the couple. "But tonight is extra special, love. Us together. This guesthouse. And of course, the dishes I cooked."
