Episode 20: The Unbosoming That Led to Realizations

Just as @zinnie2004 requested back in Episode 14 (A Trip to Saint Tropez); here is another series of episodes that will tackle our favorite era. Enjoy! 

18th of September, 2018

"What chemistry score will you give them?"

"I will give them 99 and 98 points." The nervous Director Lee even stuttered while answering the question.

"Why did you subtract one point and two points?"

Actress Son who was currently drinking her water had to stop, turned her look and faced their director; curious about how he will answer the question.

"Hyun Bin seems to like more." He confidently answered.

Yejin's eyes widen, along with Bin who has shown a confused look, as the two actors turned their heads to face the interviewer.

"What?" Even the interviewer was confused with Director Lee's reason.

"Did you understand what he just said?" Yejin asked Bin in the middle of the clarifications going on between the interviewer and Director Lee.

With his laughing smile, Bin shook his head.

Unknown to all, it was truly what their Director observed from his lead actors; that these two didn't just have potential chemistry for a blockbuster movie or drama, but real-life chemistry that only people behind the cameras, behind long scripts, behind filming venues, would see; and how lucky he was to have witnessed it all.

22nd of September, 2018

Today the whole The Negotiation team has been preparing for their first stage greeting. The main actors of the movie: Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, together with the movie director; Director Lee Jong Suk, as well as some staff and the actor's managers are gathered in the building lobby waiting for their promotional bus to arrive. Their first stop, cinemas around Seoul.

The first stage greeting day went well. As expected, movie houses were full of their supporters. After visiting 3 cinemas from the afternoon 'til evening, Director Lee announced once they reached the bus that he will be treating the whole team for dinner.

"Director, don't drink a lot tonight, huh. We have finished just yet our first day of stage greeting." Yejin teased Director Lee who has been pouring his second glass of beer.

The whole team is now having their dinner in a reserved samgyeopsal place in Seoul. The seats are fixed to only by fours, leaving Director Lee to seat with his two actors.

"Yejin-ah, even if I finish three whole bottles of this tonight, I won't get drunk," Director stated assertively.

Bin then scoffed, glanced at Yejin and it seemed like their eyes had spoken to each other that made them laugh together without even saying a word.

Director Lee laid his shot glass on top of the table, "These two." He shook his head, before uplifting his chin, and raising a brow at the two actors parallel to his seat. "Why? Why are you both laughing, huh?

Bin started to reminisce about one of the moments during their film discussions. "Really? Don't you remember that one night..."

Yejin then suddenly burst out laughing loud, with the two men she's in the same table with looking at her. "Director Lee! Three bottles you say?" She laughed hard again, even holding her chest as she was trying to stop herself from laughing, "But that night you dozed off in our meeting, you barely finished your second bottle."
