Episode 6: Awards Night III

Our drama may have not won on other categories, but we're already grateful enough for all the love and support we received from all over the world.

Award winners were asked to come up the stage for a photo. I looked at Yejin, and she gave a signal for us to head to the stage. Hyo Jin, her friend has suddenly come out of nowhere and pulled her to the stage.

"Captain!" Kyung Won, also known as Pyo Chi Soo tapped my shoulder. He jokingly did a salute, so I laughed and did a salute as well. "You're doing a good job, huh." Obviously teasing me with regards to all the controlled actions I did tonight.

I simply responded with a laugh. "I didn't know tuxedos also suit you well." I teased him, as I've always seen him during our shoots with the military uniform of his character.

He was one of few friends I grew closer with as we shoot our drama, and he is definitely one of the few people who have witnessed how Yejin and I's relationship evolved during the drama.

"Award winners, head to the stage please!" Someone stated over the microphone.

"I think I have to go." I tapped his shoulder back, and head towards the stage.

Everyone onstage was busy buzzing around, the reason why I can't see Yejin. I continued to search my eyes on the sea of my fellow actors and there I saw her beside Ji Hye on the third step of the stairs. 

I don't think there would be something wrong if we'll be photographed beside one another for this picture, right? We had both won an award on the same category, and there's definitely nothing wrong about it!

I was about to take the position beside her when another co-actress approached her and did a little chat again as we wait for all the media and photographers to come front. 

It was then I decided to just take the position above them. Well, this is the only spot where I can stay. Oh well. I took a deep breath and got ready for the photo. But then, I turned my head to the left, and right. Why is there so much space on this step I'm standing at? 

"Okay, ready!" The photographer called. I faced front and put up a smile. 

"One, two, three!" Then the sound of clicks and flashes was all we had on sight. 

"Hahaha! Binnie! Look at you, love!" Yejin was laughing so hard while showing me the photo shot together with all the award winners. 

It's is currently 10:30 in the evening, and Yejin and I are sitting at our usual spot inside my home; my living room's couch. We decided to do a little celebration tonight. Nothing big though, just our usual thing to do, but what made it a little more special is we're drinking wine tonight, and not a canned beer. As always, she's currently leaning at my right shoulder, and my right arm hooked on her shoulder. 

"Yaa! I had a little talk with Kyung Won that's why I came a little late up on stage." I explained to her. This woman just won't stop laughing. 

She then faced me with a wide smile. I raised my left brow at her. But she quickly looked back at her phone, stared the group photo, and then zoomed it to my face. For the nth time now.

She began laughing again. "What do I do? Hahaha! I can't stop myself from laughing! Why do you look like a loner up there-" 

I cut her off. I moved inches near her lips, held her chin, and claimed her lips for a kiss. I swiftly then separated from the kiss, then sat straight. I looked at her. "What? Will you still laugh at my position right there, huh?" I raised a brow again and stared at her. 

I relaxed my back now at the couch, put my arms on top of my chest, and looked away. "I was about to go and take the position beside you!" I exclaimed, with a little sound of frustration. I really wanted too! 

"It will look better for us to stay beside each other because we won together an award, but then, someone stood beside you already and I had nowhere else to stand. And besides, I just really wanted to be near you at that time." I sadly explained to Yejin, and got the wine glass from the side table in my left, opened the bottle of wine, poured on my glass, and took a sip before putting it back. Did all those still looking away from Yejin. 

I just suddenly felt a hand that caressed my left cheek and got shocked when soft lips suddenly touched mine.

I grabbed that woman's body closer to mine now, as I responded back to her kisses. I placed my hand on her chin and returned back a deeper kiss. I held unto her waist and guided her as she now sat on my lap, encircling an arm over my neck.

Yejin then let go of the kiss. Still in the same position. She held my jaw, "You did well today, Bin-ssi!" 

She shocked me once more as she claimed my lower lip, before quickly moving away. "And by the way, the wine tastes amazing." She gave me a wide genuine smile, before standing up to go to the side table at my left, and poured that tasty wine on her glass. 

I said it once, and I'm saying it once again; Ms. Son Ye Jin will be the death of me.
