Episode 13: The Most Romantic Thing

Long walks, hand in hand with your partner. Fancy dinner dates with steak and that glass of red wine. Reading a love letter that has expressed your partner's sentiments. Exchanging gifts. Or even being together inside the kitchen, helping each other to make the perfect dish. Everyone surely has considered one occurrence in their life to be the most romantic thing they've ever done. May it be on the littlest, and the simplest moment you've spent with your partner, or the grandest gesture or surprise you've prepared to let your significant other feel special. 

It's the first week of June; Yejin has now arrived in Antibes, France. It's a vacation together with her stylist, hairstylist, and makeup artist. They've been working together for years, and they're not just teaming up together and contribute to glam up on every project but have already become friends. This will be her break after she finished filming her movie, and her recent drama. 

Antibes is a Mediterranean village, found in the Southeastern part of France. Yejin has chosen this place among other beautiful cities within the enormous country because she has fallen in love with it, even when the first time she has seen it in the photos found on the Internet. She wanted a place that could give her relaxation- tranquility, and peace. Additionally, the scenic beaches found in the area attracted her. She has this certain love for the beach, and the comfort it brings within. 

"Yejin, may I borrow our itinerary list?" Her stylist asked. Yejin and her team have prepared a list of destinations where they would be visiting. They all don't want to waste a single day in this beautiful place. 

"Here!" She handed a paper to her and continued to fix her makeup with Mujin, her makeup artist beside her, putting on cosmetics as well. 

It is now their second day in France. They've visited the Nice Beach yesterday and walked through various eateries and markets, taking photos, and simply enjoying under the healthy sun. It was their first day, and their tiredness from the long flight paved away once they reached their initial destination. 

Today, they just plan to stay at the hotel they're currently staying in. Hotel Belles Rives has its own private beach, and they simply like to relish themselves with the great view of the sea, sitting on the patios, drinks on hand, and feel at ease before they wander around on the following days. 

"Seems like this will really be a memorable trip, hmm?" Mijung said. They were all sitting on the 4 chair patio of the hotel, under a blue umbrella, admiring the view of the sea meters away from them. 

"It certainly would be! Especially to this girl right here!" Yunmi giggled as she poked Yejin's waist. 

"What are you guys saying?" Yejin acted clueless, as she sipped on her Strawberry Lemonade mojito. 

"Look at her, acting so oblivious." Yunmi then laughed together with the Mujin and Mijung. 

"Deep inside her, we all know she's looking forward to meeting her so-called close friend in a few weeks!" Mujin teased, emphasizing the label 'close friends'.

"Why is everyone doubtful about Bin-ssi and I being close friends?" Yejin asked, and when she means everyone, she meant her closest friends, and now, even her glam team. 

"Simply because it is doubtful!" Her hairstylist answered.

"People who are aware of what you and Hyun Bin's doing as close friends would surely be skeptical, Yejin." Her stylist added. "And besides, you look good together." As the other two nodded their heads to agree.
