High School - a Turtle Teens Nightmare

High strung

Leo's POV

We told April and Casey about the Mikey/bully situation, and were eager to get in on our major butt kick plan.

The thing was we didn't really have a plan, we were just gonna have to wing it.

On entering the school premises we spotted our targets, huddled in a circle.
I led the way over to them. They turned when they saw us coming, a couple of them cracked their knuckles threateningly.

'What do you want squirts' one of the dudes spat.

'We're not to happy about what happened the other night' I growled

'Ohh I'm so scared'

The others cackled stupidly.

'This afternoon, same time same place' I spat

'Are you serious? Out in the open where someone can save your little ass?' Zac demanded 'meet us at that old chemical plant, unless you're too pussy'

'Whatever dipshit' Raph snarled
We turned to walk away.

'We'll arrange an ambulance to pick you up afterwards!' Someone yelled.

Honestly I don't know what got into me, picking fights. School really changes a person.

The last bell sounded throughout the school.

I led the others as we practically ran to our destination.

We arrived, breathing hard. The dark shape of the factory loomed over us. Casey found a gap in the wire fence, through which we all crawled through.
Raph sunk to the ground "why did we have to get here in such a hurry?"

"To assess our environment" I said in a matter-of-fact sort of voice

"Its not like some majorly deadly fight, its just a group of school bullies" Raph groaned

"We must treat all our enemies with the same level of caution" I said, sub consciously trying trying irritate Raph, who just spluttered incoherently.

Time ticked by, the minutes turned to hours, the sun long gone over the horizon.

"Look Leo" Donnie finally spoke "I think they're just a bunch of no-shows, we better get back, Mikey will be getting worried...."

Just then the sound of oafish laughter reached my ears, and twelve or so halfwits rounded the corner.

Zac was leading them, bat in hand.

"Look who decided to show up" Raph growled

"Yeah, brought company, hope you don't mind" Zac said in mock concern

"Couldn't take us with equal numbers then, huh? Need your big stwong bodyguards to fight for you? how... adorable" Raph taunted as some of the thugs adjusted the grip on the makeshift weapons.

I wish he'd keep his mouth shut.

"Lets fight already! Goongalla!!!" Casey yelled

That's pretty much how it started.

It was all well and good for Casey, Raph and April who actually had means of defence. Donnie and I on the other hand found it much harder to carry around out weapons.

Two guys ran at me, base ball bats raised. I leapt over their heads, landing on top of the fence behind them. Once they had gotten over their initial shock they grabbed the fence and began shaking it.
Summersaulting away, I spotted I length of frayed rope.
Scooping it up, I turned to face my foes.

For some reason they did not seem intimidated.

'Donnie!' I yelled

Said boy glanced at me, he had one of the larger boys in a rather effective headlock.

'What?'

'Catch!'

I tossed the rope at him, my foot holding down the tail.

'This isn't the time for tug of war.... Oh!' Something in his brain clicked and he scooped up the frazzled end.

"Huh, you're not so tough now are ya" Raph sneered

"Good knot work Leo" April commented on the sight before her: a dozen 17 year olds currently resembled a disgruntled ball of string.

"Who would have thought all we needed to take them down was some old rope" I chuckled

"What now?" Donnie asked, dusting off his sleeve.

'Pizza?' Casey suggested

'For once Casey, I agree'
