Update's late but that's okay.
"Fuck," I hear Piper murmur beside me at out shared desk as she flips through her binder.
I lean over to her and ask, "What's wrong?"
"I had my notes in here but I can't seem to find them." She scrunches her face up and although I'm supposed to be trying to help her, I can't help but think about how cute she looks like that.
"For bio?" That's what we're taking right now, anyway.
"And for algebra too." Piper and I have algebra after bio.
"You can copy out of my notes," I offer. Piper smiles at me and I swear I could faint right there and then.
"The Jason Grace is letting me copy his notes. Are you sure you aren't an imposter?" Piper laughs, the clear sound sounding like an angel's. I think I'm going delirious. "But thank you a lot."
Sliding my open binder for Piper to copy, I open my mouth to say something, but the bell signalling the beginning of biology rings. The teacher struts in and begins her teaching. Piper slides my binder back, I flip to a new sheet and poise to start writing.
The bell rings and Piper and I get up at the same time, already decided that we will walk to algebra together.
"Thanks again," Piper says as we near the our next class.
"No problem." We situate ourselves at a desk in the middle-right of the room.
5 minutes through class, Piper texts me.
Pipes💕
Pipes💕: i have a idea
Me: We're in class right now
Pipes💕: and?
Me: We could get in trouble?
Pipes💕: but my idea... 😞😞😞
Me: Alright what's your idea?
Pipes💕: you're close to frank right
Me: Percy's closer but yeah
Pipes💕: kkkk
Pipes💕: and were both close to hazel
Me: Whats ur idea?
Pipes💕: shush im gonna tell
Pipes💕: basically we should get hazel and frank together
Pipes💕: ive though bout it
Pipes💕: and hazels tatto seems to match frank
Pipes💕: vice versa 2
Me: I see
Pipes💕: and???
Pipes💕: if ur not helping imma still do it on my own
Me: Why not
Pipes💕: yay!!!!
I look up from my phone and Piper shoots me a smirk. Luckily, the teacher is only reviewing things from last class so I didn't miss much.
"Thank you for listening," Piper says when we leave the classroom. From there we have to split off; we have different electives.
"I mean now that I think about it, you're right. Besides, Hazel and Frank would fit nicely," I answer.
