𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 - 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬

𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

harry winks woke up on a sunday morning with his girlfriend in his arms. she was drooling on the pillow ever so slightly as her eyelashes brushed against her cheeks. her blonde hair was a wild mess and most girls would think of themselves as ugly in the mornings but allie with drool and bed hair was one of his favourites. she was always beautiful to him.

"i can feel you staring." allie groaned, her voice croaky since she had just woken up and it had had a lack of use whilst she was asleep.

"i'm not staring, i'm admiring." harry protested, smiling as his girlfriend rolled over and cuddled in closer to him.

"yeah, i'm sure that's what perverts say when they get caught." allie mumbled, wanting nothing more than to go back to sleep, even though it was well past half ten in the morning.

harry could only laugh at allie's comment. she was coming out of her shell more when she was with him. allie had always been a quiet girl but when she was with the right people, she could be very loud and unapologetically herself.

"what do you want to do today?" the brunette boy asked the girl beside him and she simply shrugged her shoulders. it was clear to harry that allie was not a morning person. it took her several hours to become properly awake and she valued her sleep very much, even though it was always past midnight when she put her phone down or decided to stop watching netflix.

"i don't mind as long as i'm with you." allie couldn't stop the cheesy sentence from coming out if her mouth. it was very cliché but it was how she truly felt.

before harry had the chance to respond to his girlfriend, he heard his phone going off so he picked it up to see what was happening.

"allie, why is todd cantwell saying that you guys have been flirting?" harry questioned with a smile on his face. he wasn't accusing his girlfriend of anything because he trusted her and he knew that she would never go behind his back like that.

"he has?" this was news to allie. they had interacted a few times in her instagram comments but naïve and innocent allie was convinced that todd was only being friendly.

harry went on to allie's instagram to check through the comments and that was when he noticed that allie had never posted a picture of the two of them or even mentioned the fact that they were together. it hurt harry a bit and he wondered why she wasn't willing to let everyone know that she was taken.

"allie, why don't you like mentioning me?" harry questioned. he knew that not everything had to be about him but allie hadn't so much as mentioned on her social media that she was in a relationship.

"it's not you harry, it's just that everytime i do something, all your fans want to know is where you are or why i'm not with you." allie groaned. she loved being with harry, she really did but she found the fans to be a little bit suffocating at times. who she was in a relationship with didn't define her.

"i don't need to declare that i'm in a relationship with you because everyone already knows." the blonde girl finished but it was clear to see that harry wasn't satisfied with her answer in the slightest.

"does everyone know? because todd certainly didn't." harry protested and started to get annoyed. was she embarrassed by him?

harry had had several text messages from todd himself that morning, apologising and saying that if he knew allie was in a relationship, he would never have tried anything. harry trusted the norwich player's words as they had met several times when playing in the league.

"i'm sorry, harry. i don't know what else you want me to do or say." allie was at a loss. she knew that her boyfriend was upset but she genuinely didn't know how to fix it.

"are you embarrassed?" his voice was timid as he asked the question that had been playing on his mind almost the whole morning. he needed to know the answer because if she was, harry thought that their relationship probably wouldn't make it. he wanted to be with someone who didn't feel the need to hide their relationship.

"of course not," allie felt the tears prick at her eyes as harry asked a question that broke her heart.

"i just like my privacy." the blonde admitted but harry shook his head and laughed bitterly. he couldn't believe that this was their first proper fight. he wanted it to stop, he really did but he felt that he needed time to think.

"yeah, apparently you like it too much." the london boy muttered but it didn't matter. allie had heard him. both of them knew that he didn't mean what he had said but it didn't matter. he had said it and the whole situation was very raw.

"i think i should probably leave, give us both some space." allie started to pack up her things that were scattered around harry's bedroom and he could only watch. it broke his heart that their first fight had ended like this but his girlfriend was right. they both needed time to think.

"come find me when you're ready to talk, okay?" the short girl leaned across and pressed a chaste kiss to harry's cheek. his stubble tickled her skin and he sighed, looking down and seeing his naked torso.

the sound of the front door clicked shut and harry knew that his girlfriend had left. when harry tried to get out of bed, he couldn't. he sat on the edge of it with his feet touching the carpet and broke down into tears. he had been stupid and insensitive and he didn't want to lose allie. he couldn't lose allie.

a/n: their first couple's riff :( it makes me sad but i don't think anyone's relationship is plain sailing unfortunately.

- i watched a vlog yesterday on youtube (it was sarah's day surprise surprise) and they were looking at wedding venues. they went to byron bay (australia) and it looks amazing. australia has always been on my list but byron is stunning.
