The Grill was loud as always, Klaus had 'strategically' chosen a table in the very far corner, Kol had managed to convince Elijah to play pool, and Rebekah was cheering her eldest brother on.
Klaus tapped his glass, watching the trio, only turning his attention to me when I'd made a move to leave the table. "Where do you think you're going?" He immediately asked.
"Well I've got two Salvatores who've been worried about me since I left, and they just so happen to be at the bar, I'm going to go say hi" I made a move to continue, but Klaus was faster and stronger than I was.
He caught me around the waist and I was sitting back in my chair in the blink of an eye. "You're not going anywhere out of my sight" he folded his arms.
"No" I stood, glaring slightly "I'm going to go see my friends" I tried to remain firm, but it was really hard to do that when he was a thousand year old vampire who was just as stubborn as I was.
"Aw is the duckling glaring" I heard Kol tease, I looked at him in confusion. "It's nothing against you darling, you look as threatening as an angry duck"
Rebekah smacked him upside the head. "Thank you Rebekah" I smiled in her direction while Kol glared at her.
"What was that for?" He demanded.
"Just felt like you deserved it" she sassed, I bit my lip in an attempt to hide my grin.
"Oh he definitely did, he called me an angry duck" I scowled.
"That's because you are sweetheart" Klaus laughed.
"Stop teasing her" Elijah tried to be serious but I could see his grin.
"It's really hard to be offended when all of you are laughing" I groaned.
"There's no need to be offended love, we were just having a bit of fun" Kol grinned.
"Can I go see Stefan and Damon now?" I begged, Klaus rolled his eyes.
"Brother, let the poor girl go see her friends, we can watch her from here, and she knows not to let them touch her" Elijah reasoned.
"Fine, but I feel anything and you're back on that chair, understand?" Klaus looked at me intently.
"I understand" I nodded, letting out a grin before racing to the other side of the restaurant.
I cleared my throat. "Hey guys" I greeted.
"Daisy" Stefan smiled, when Damon remained silent I pouted.
"Aw come on Damon, you're not still mad about what happened are you?" He caught my facial expression and I could see his resolve crack.
"Who could ever really stay mad at Daisy Scott?" Damon smirked.
"So I just wanted to know if you guys have found anything about the mark, or the prophecy?" I picked at the bar nervously, I really didn't want the gang to find out about me being soulmates with Klaus, especially Damon and Stefan.
"We've got nada, Elena's part of some stupid prophecy, and we can't do a thing to save generations" Damon drank his bourbon, obviously angry.
"Bonnie can't figure it out, she says the witches have been shutting her out, and there isn't anything in her gram's grimoire that helps us with the prophecy, your tattoo, or nightmares" Stefan replied, also frustrated.
"How are you doing though" Damon asked "I mean with the nightmares, you never really responded"
"I have them kind of often, I mean, I had movie night with the Mikaelsons, which was really great until I fell asleep" I knew the originals would be listening, but Stefan and Damon knew everything that happened, and they're really good at calming me down after a nightmare.
"Have you been taking your meds?" Stefan asked, ignoring the movie night part.
"No" I replied, looking at the bar instead of my friends. "I kind of left it at your house"
"Daisy" Damon scolded "they're there to help you, and if you don't take them, you won't stop having the nightmares"
"I know, it's just, they make me sleep longer than I like, and I don't really want to have to depend on medicine to help me" I replied sheepishly.
"I do wish I could hug you right now" Damon frowned.
I glanced at Klaus, who was watching intently, obviously having heard our conversation. I shot him a pleading face, he narrowed his eyes, before nodding.
Smiling, I turned to Damon. "Well I got the okay, so just quick hugs okay?" I psmiled happily.
Damon stood, pulling me close, when my skin was heating up, I pulled away and smiled, grateful for the small hug that I did get.
Stefan was next, and we had to cut it a little shorter, because my skin started to heat up faster.
As soon as I pulled away, I was tugged into another chest, but there wasn't any burning sensation, so I didn't panic.
"Well I'm sure that was a great chat, but my family and I have something we need to discuss with this one, and it's already late" I looked to see Klaus give the brothers a strained smile, before picking me up bridal style and rushing off.
