Mayas POV
~~the next day~~
I saw Lucas today and I thought about when I called him cute. I can't like him. Well, I can't like like him.
Reasons why I can't like like Lucas
1. I just met him
2. He's just my friend
3. I think riley likes him
'Why does he have to look like that?!' I thought to myself. 'If he looked more like Farkle, I wouldn't have to deal with this!'
"Maya are you okay?" Lucas asks me. I zoned out of my thoughts and looked at him.
"Yeah. Sorry, I was...thinking" I say awkwardly.
Lucas nods.
Lucas' POV
I was in the hallways And I saw Maya. She walked up to me.
"Hi" I say.
No response.
"Hi Maya" I say again.
Nothing
I start to wave my hand in front of her eyes.
"Maya are you okay?" I ask her. She looked like she just zoned out from her thoughts.
"Yeah. Sorry, I was...thinking." She says awkwardly. I nod my head
Farkles POV
Today I went to Rileys house so I can pick her up and we can walk to school together. She seemed really happy. When we got in the hallways, she spotted Lucas and Maya instantly. We walked over to them.
"Hey guys!" Riley said. Maya looked at her weird.
"It's a sunny day. I love a sunny day. I love my friends, I love a sunny day," she paused, "I even love school!" Ok this is weird. Nobody loves school exept me. What was even weirder was the Maya kept staring at lucas. Does she like him?
