Maya's POV

I went to school, so excited to see lucas. I already know what my answer is going to be to his question, 'YES!' I looked all over the school, but I didn't see him anywhere. There was one last place to look, the library. I walked into the library and saw lucas with riley. I slowly went up to them, trying to be as quite as possible so they won't hear me. I needed to know what they were saying.

"Riley," lucas started, "will you go out with me?"

'Wha-what?!?!' I thought to myself. 'He likes riley? Long hair, riley has long hair, amazing eyes, well she kind of has cool eyes, riley is always happy, she is funny, and I must admit, she is fun to hang out with.'

I felt my heart break into 1,000,000 pieces. I was...heartbroken.

'Wait! Riley didn't say yes!'I thought to myself.

"Yes!" I hear riley say.

"Ssshhhhhhh!" The librarian hissed.

Okay, now my heart broke into 1,000,000 pieces. I felt my eyes fill up with tears. The bell rang. I quickly run out the library door and head to my first class. I think lucas saw me running away, because he started calling my name.

"Maya! Maya!" I heard behind me. I just kept running. I couldn't talk to him.

He caught up with me. He grabbed my shoulder. I was breathing heavy, and so was he..

"Maya, what's wrong?!" He asked.

I controlled my crying. I looked him in the eye.

"You" I respond

"What? What did I-" I cut him off

"Just, leave me alone." I say

He looked at me with eyes of anger.

"I hate you," I mumbled.

"I hate you, too" I heard him mumble.

I watched as he turned around and stormed off.

I will never love again.

Lucas' POV

I hate Maya. She hates me. I should've never done my stupid plan.

My plan

1.Ask Maya out on a date

2. Tell her that I want to ask a girl out

3. Make her believe I wanted to ask her out

4. Ask out riley

5. Make Maya jealous

Riley was helping me to get Maya. I also asked her if she can tell Maya that she likes me. She agreed to do that. My plan was working out perfectly. But then I made Maya hate me. How could I do that? She said she hates me, I said I hate her. I don't hate her... I love her. I felt my eyes fill up with tears, and slowly they came dripping out. I hate myself! I run out of school and into the street.

I felt something crash into me.

I blackout.
