Part 4

Alex's POV
It's been an hour since Lena woke up from surgery. I've been chatting with her and giving her advice. She seems super nervous for her conversation with Kara. I personally think Kara will be glad to hear Lena is choosing to forgive her. Lena is making a huge chance to forgive Kara. As we all know she's very guarded so it's nice to see her opening up to someone. Not to mention it's Kara we're talking about. I mean who could hate someone who wants the best for people. After Reign coming back and Lena getting shot, I think she needs time off from work. I decided to leave Lena with Kara and go see Sam. I really do hope she's still Sam and not Reign. Ruby is safe but I'm not sure for how long.

Sam's POV
Alex came in to see how I was doing. She asked me some questions and I gave her my truthful answers. I feel so guilty for what had happened to Lena. I mean she literally got shot by her own adoptive mother. What sane person would shoot their own kid. Not me but I could've harmed Ruby. God I'm sure she's mortified of what I've become. Alex started to have a normal conversation with me to take my mind off things.

Alex: So how are you feeling? I mean besides what happened.
Sam: I guess I'm okay. How's Lena. I heard she was awake.
Alex: She's doing fine she's waiting for Kara to wake up so they could talk about their relationship. *winks*
Sam: Ohh I see. So are they going to confess to each other? I've seen the way they both look at each other. Then they say oh we're just best friends.
Alex: Exactly! They say their "friends" but what friend looks at them with so much love and admiration in their eyes? I mean Lena did buy Catco for Kara.
Sam: Thats very true. I wouldn't do that for just a friend. Didn't Lena spend like 750 million dollars for the company?
Alex: Damn Sam how'd you know the exact amount? Anyway yes she did, which is a shit ton of money.
Sam: I mean I am Lenas BFF besides Kara. I will say I'm proud of Lena. She is opening up to people despite her inner judgment.
Alex: I'll agree with that. Oh sorry Sam Lena is calling me.

Lena's POV
Kara is awake and I'm nervous to start the conversation without Alex. I called her and asked her to come back to the room. When she arrived I sighed with relief. I didn't know how to start the conversation since it would be out of the blue. I really want her to understand why I was angry but she might not. I understand why she did what she did but it isn't an excuse to lie to me. If she knew I would be okay with her lying that's a different story but that's not the case. Alex started the conversation off. She's saying casual things to flow into the topic. I'm very great full for all the support I have. Alex states that she noticed chemistry between us and I was shocked. Was it that obvious? I thought I was being subtle, I guess I wasn't. Well how could I be subtle when there is a gorgeous woman constantly coming to visit me.
