Part 13

Kara's POV
I was nervous Alex was approaching me. Is she about to yell at me? Gosh I hope not. Lena and her were just talking to I wonder is Lena said anything about the topic. Maggie is talking to J'onn and we have a bigger problem to deal with.

Alex: Kara we need to talk.
Kara: What is there to talk about?
Alex: Come on Kara don't be like that. I know you didn't mean it and I don't hold you accountable. Now please just talk to me.
Kara: Alex everything is fine. I just didn't think I'd ever do that to you even if I was effected by red kryptonite.
Alex: ah yes you're totally fine. Does the word fine mean breaking your girlfriends phone for some odd reason?
Kara: I didn't mean to. She was goi-
Alex: What was she going to do hmm? Call Maggie to arrest you or something. If anything she probably would've texted me.
Kara: I don't break things on purpose. I mean she did point a gun at me.
Alex: Kara J'onn ordered her to do that! I'm sure she knew what was happening. She didn't want to but if she had to she would've. Plus the gun wouldn't have killed you. She'd never kill you.
Kara: I just didn't want this to effect our relationship. I want to be able to hug you and all that sister stuff but I can't help but feel guilty.
Alex: I will never blame you for what happened. Don't ever think that. You are my sister.
Kara: Alex we have bigger things to deal with right now. I want this to be fixed but we need to stop the control the DEO.
Alex: Umm

After that we heard a huge bomb and Winn texted all of us. The DEO was attacked. We had to rush there to see what happened.

Lena's POV
While we were on our way I heard gunshots. I was worried. People in the DEO may have been controlled but they still could've gotten hurt. Unfortunately I was going to go into work so I was wearing heels. Kara was stressed and Alex is tense. Maggie, J'onn, and I are worried for both of them. We got there and the whole building was engulfed in flames. Winn was outside with some people who he got out. Kara rushed to them and and helped them. I watched as everyone helped each other. I looked at the burning building to see a silhouette of someone. I yelled at Kara to move and bring everyone by J'onn and I. My mother had a gun filled with kryptonite. I wasn't sure if it would affect me but it will affect Kara. She was being stubborn so I ran towards her. My mother raised her gun and pulled the trigger. I got hit and felt a burning pain.

Kara: Lena! No no no! Got damnit Lillian!
Lena: K-Kara I-

With that Lillian stepped on my back. I let out a horrifying shriek. I felt something press against the back of my neck and I panicked. I saw Kara's face and she was scared out of her life. Was she going to pull the trigger?

Lillian: Why hello Lena. Nice to see you again.
Lena: S-sure...ah!
Lillian: You'll be lucky if your back isn't broken.
Lena: What do you want
Lillian: Oh Lena I think we both know what I want. I want a piece of technology you have.
Lena: I'll never give it to you.
Lillian: Then pay the price!
Kara: Lena!

I screamed. She did shoot me but not where I expected. She shot me in my shoulder. My vision was blurring as I lost blood. Lillian left and I'm sure she was going to L-Corp. I told Alex to send cops to L-Corp while everyone helped me. I'm sure Kara blames herself for what happened but it wasn't her fault.
