Okaayyy... Soooo... Uh... Just a quick update, "gardens galore ask or dare" has been quiet, "sunrise107: beginning of a new hero" will be updated soon, and I already am preparing a (male)reader x solar flare m'kay? I'm just gonna "chill" here, no need to give me a "cold" shoulder, I have "snow" regrets (laughs)

"(Y/n)! Look what i can do!" petals says as she roots down on the lawn and uses her solar beam ability

You chuckled from you're chair "cool, did miss penelope teach you that?"
"uh-huh, but she said she got that tip from her flower friend" she replied cheerily

"speaking of the teacher" you say as a female peashooter with sunglassed and a sports hat was crossing the road

"hey there my Little flower girl~" you recognized her voice
As she went up to give petals a hug, then she turned and walks towards you

"hey shadow, hows L.E.A.F.?" You whispered,
Greenshadow chuckled to herself "please, just call me penelope, M'kay?"

"uh sure, wanna drink?"

She put away her sunglasses "as if id turn down that chance, got soda?"

"sure, in the house, help yourself" you said flipping through the magazine,

"petals sweetie, ill be right back" Greenshadow said as she went in the house

"okay miss penelope!"

You noticed rainbow sitting on the grass looking at the sky, obviously has her mind on something

"why dont you want to go rainbow?"

"what do you mean?" She asked

"youre awfully quiet lately, it not like you" you said, worried that the chomper was coming down with something

She sighed "yeah, i just feel somethings not right here"
"why dont you just enjoy with petals and learn your abilities" you asked

"hmm, okay, i will" she said happily walking towards petals and started chatting again
"so, everything okay?" you jumped when Greenshadow said that

"woah dude, calm down" she said as she took a swig from her can of soda

"Ive got no updates on our mystery heroes yet" you said "what about you?"

She shook her head, "its like the battle with the gnomes all over again" she then counted the facts "kid whose got magic, new plants, stronger zombies, it almost as if..."

She paused, "they are like from a different  universe" she then realized she can of soda was now empty "I mean, its so weird that in a place full of zombies, people were forced out of the Philippines, then some weird plants come in and save the day"

"well, I can't argue on that" you said choosing your words 'different universes?! Sounds crazy' you thought

"okay, sounds a little fictional, but ever since the attack of the gnomes, its entirely possible that  things like that could happened" she continued

You were confused
"wait what? You sure?"
"no, but its possible"

Both of you were silent for a long time

"miss penelope! Im bored! Can we start now?" petals said loudly

Greenshadow giggle "coming darling~" she looks back at you with a wink

"do you always do this accent?" you asked in disbelief

"nah, its just something I picked up along the way, learned it from a certain rose friend of mine"

"miss penelope!"

"oh, my goodness, coming! Such an impatient little sweetheart" with that, she walked toward petals in such a way it made you blush
You sigh "she's totaly random"

(later)
*Greenshadow's P.o.v.*

"byebye now darlings~" I waved at petals, (Y/n), and rainbow
I decided to walk home, since its not everyday I get to enjoy this.

as I walked, I past the pastery where (Y/n) was working at, so i decided to pay a visit

*ring ring*

the door bell rang as i opened the door, i was greeted by a teenage girl with golden brown curls "hello and welcome to perfect pastry, how may i help you?"

"aren't you Sharms? the daughter of the owner of this place?" I asked with the accent

The girl was taken aback
"oh, why yes, yes indeed, how did you know?"

"oh, well a darling friend of mine told me about you" i said, using the accent some more "why (Y/n) told me alot about you"

"oh! (Y/n)? yeah hes a fine gentleman"

"really?" i stated "well care to tell me more about yourself?"

"sure take a seat" Sharms said leading me to a table but is there anything that i may interest you in?"

"oh deary, ill just have some cinnamon buns, a certain rose friend of mine loves there flavour, and I thought she would like a little gift"

(later)
*still Greenshadow's P.o.v.*

I was listening to Sharms as she tells the misadventures that brought her here, i laughed "oh dear me, did you really hide in a graveyard?"

"heh, yeah it was a mistake, but my friends came to save me, so im okay" Sharms said with a shrug

"say, you said (Y/n) works here? why hasn't he here" I asked out of curiosity

"im surprised you didn't notice, he said he's taking a break, and I allowed him to"

"care to tell me something about him?"

"oh he's a kind man, thats for sure, he's also generous, and helpful"

"quite a man you've got here" I say slowly

"yeah, except its sad" the girl said lowering her head

I got curious
"uh, dear, you dont mind me asking but why is it so"

Sharms sighed "well, first off, he lost both of his true parents, its practically a big loss, he sometimes comes to work sleepy because of bad dreams he had about the past, I guess its worth mentioning that he hates a particular holiday because he loved, or used to love, it with his family"
"what holiday, if I may ask?"

"St. patricks day"

the back door opened and a familliar looking bonk choy walked up "here are the cinnamon buns"

"oh thank you darling, well i best be on my way, lovely time, but alas i must go, farewell darlings!" i say as i walk out the door.

all the way back home, I was thinking of a the other things (Y/n) hasn't told me yet, and most importantly;

why was Grassknuckles, working in a pastry store?

And thats it for now, but stay tuned for the next chapter (actually don't, just check in once a week or so cuz I'm pretty booked) anyway, thanks for reading, and if you liked it, be sure to check out my other books im working on
