Reluctantly, you open your eyes as the sunlight peeked in from your half-way opened curtains. You sat up confused as to why you were on your bed.

'Shit. I fell asleep before I could finish reviewing the Seijoh vs. Karasuno match. Wait, but wasn't I on the floor in front of my tv?'

Sure enough, you say an accumulation of blankets and pillows near your tv with a dvd case open. You don't remembered anything of what happened last night regarding Tsukishima.

===================================
Center court. Everyone watching. Cameras fixated on us. The lights shined down. Just the atmosphere was sort of terrifying.

The second set. Shiratorizawa took the first set. 16-25. The pressure was now riding on our backs. It's kind of exciting.

'I know the boys are a little discouraged cuz they couldn't take the first set. However, it looks like this set is in our favor. The score is 30-29. It was a long, tiring deuce. But everyone on our side of the court were thinking the same thing.... "just one more".'

Ushijima spiked his usual menacing and intimidating spike as it came crashing down towards Nishinoya who barely saved it. However, the ball flew outside the court, but was saved by Tanaka. Daichi followed through bitterly giving Shiratorizawa a chance ball. Of course, they received back to their setter, Shirabu. Quickly, the light brown-haired Shirabu set once again to Ushijima.

'That toss. That was sloppy. That had to be a mistake. This is what we've been waiting for. Wait, no. This is what Tsukishima's been waiting for.'

I thought as I stared intently at the serious blond jumping with such effort that make me question if that was really Tsukishima.

Slap. The satisfying sound of the ball aggresively hit Tsukishima's hand. The slap was followed by an echoed thud as the ball quickly fell on Shiratorizawa's side of the court.

At first, silence. The second set was over. Utter shock. From everyone.

'H-he did it. It seems like he's a different person. What the hell happened to him? I thought he hated volleyball. Man, I really was wrong. Now I know. Tsukishima really does love volleyball'

After a couple moments, his hand shot up as he clenched his fist. And Tsukishima screamed. The roars and cheers from the crowd followed Tsukishima's shout. But the actual members of the team were probably the loudest. Screaming at the top of their lungs, everyone on the court began to run towards their hero, Tsukishima. Everyone practically tackled him.

A single tear left your eye and slowly fell down your cheek. It wasn't a sad tear. No. It was a tear of happiness.

Tsukishima soon looked your way and a satisfied smug crossed his face.

"Now don't get all emotional on me, (f/n). If you cry, it'll seem like you love me or something," Tsukishima mocked standing up tall in front of you.

"You wish," you sneer back at him punching his shoulder and teasing him some more. All the boys including Coach Ukai and Sensei Takeda burst into laughter drawing the attention of the crowd and the opposite side of the court.

"I wonder why (f/n) cried a little bit," Ennoshita questioned towards Suga.

"I don't know. But I think I can kind of relate. You definitely don't see Tsukishima as a person to put a lot of effort into something let alone love something. But I think we just saw that he really does love volleyball." Suga explained.

'I'm just so proud. He really has grown. That's the best part about the team manager. To see them grow. It really is the best.'

You thought to yourself.

"Now, don't die on us now, Tsukishit."

"Like hell I will."
