'What is it, Doctor O?'
'I think we have to change your room. Someone was following me around the hospital. I ignored it at first, but these past few days it seems to be not normal. I have a speculation that it was your stepdad's doing.'
'Yeah, who else would it be?' I said weakly.
'What would happen now?' Paris asked.
'London had to find his real dad as soon as possible.' He said, then he turned to me 'I don't have patience for this, London. I don't want to ruin your little celebration, but we should not waste more days. We can't afford for someone to get hurt. Letting another day to get by is just putting everyone at risk, London.'
'Did you contact him again, London?'
'Ever since I woke up today? Not yet.' I said as I shake my head.
'His name. What was it again?' Scott asked.
'Anthony. Anthony Roberts.' I repeated.
'I would ask my dad too. You mentioned that he was a board of trustees in our school, right? Why not ask Principal Prim?' Scot said.
'I'll go ask your school to find out the whereabouts of your dad.' The doctor said while raising his hand.
'I'll ask my dad, too. If he knows someone by that name. I should probably tell my dad that I would sleep here.' Paris said.
I've seen Doctor O's brows creased. 'Again? Paris, go home. You haven't been sleeping properly and bathing properly for days.' Doctor O stated.
My eyes widened at what I've just found out. 'What? Paris, I think you should go. I'm grateful how you've been worried about me. But I'll be fine here. Send my regards to Uncle Jude.' I said as I turned my attention to him.
'Are you sure?' He said softly as he tucks away my loose hair.
I nodded smiling.
'Wow. Just look at these two. Guys, stop making it too obvious.' Doctor O teased.
Scot turned in our direction. Then he shook his head. 'I can't believe you. This is a hospital for goodness sake!' Scot uttered.
'Shut up, Scot. You're just jealous.' Paris retorted.
Scot snorted. 'Jealous, my ass.'
Paris moved forward, towering over Scot. 'Shut up, dude. You're obvious when jealous.' He seethed, glaring at Scot.
Like always Paris was the short-fused one. I didn't expect that Scot had that attitude too. I sighed. I don't have the energy to stop their silliness.
Thankfully, Doctor O went between them pushing them away from one another. But they were just two unlike poles of a magnet, closing into each other again.
'Okay. That's enough. Break it up, guys.' Doctor O said as he separates the two alpha males.
'We're talking about problems here, guys. Be serious about this.' Lloyd scolded them.
'Right. We are talking about problems, so you better get serious.' He firmly said, glaring at Paris.
Scot was the first to back off followed by Paris. 'And speaking of problems, we have one more problem.'
Everyone turned to Scot. Then he began talking again. 'My parents assigned people to send the invitation cards and emails for business personnel from overseas to attend our engagement party.'
'And so?' Paris in an annoying tone as he returned to my side.
I crossed my arms, narrowing my eyes at Paris. I mouthed the words "Stop it."
