Alexandra had finished cleaning the kitchen and was in the grocery store. She had gotten everything they had run out of and was getting things that she had heard Josh mentioning things he wanted.

She was walking through the toiletries isle. She had grabbed shampoo for both her and Josh and body wash. She stopped at the tampons section and was looking for the brand she preferred.

'Okay so the last time I had my period was on the 27.......I'm three weeks late...'

Alexandra stood there dumb founded for a minute recounting her cycle trying to figure it out.

'There is no way I can be late. I'm never late! I haven't had any sex with anyone since....oh shit.'

Alexandra stared blankly at the boxes for a minute. She then moved a few feet down the isle and picked up a first response pregnancy test and tossed it her cart. She walked down the isle still in shock.

She walked to the check out line and when the older lady scanned the pregnancy tests, she looked at Alexandra with pity.

Alexandra got home and the first thing she did was walk to the bathroom with the pregnancy test. She followed the instructions and while she was waiting the three minutes for the result she started putting away the groceries. Once her three minutes went by she ran back into the bathroom and picked up the test.

'Fuck.' She thought. The test showed two pink lines. Alexandra started pacing then and thinking. She sat on the couch for an hour and just cried. When she had finally regained her composure she texted Josh.

-Alexandra: I need you to come home ASAP. It's an emergency.

A few seconds later she got a response.

-Josh: I'll be there soon.

She read it and replied one more time.

-Alexandra: Stop at Rite Aide and get pregnancy test.

-Josh: I figured that's what was up. I'll get them then I'll be there. FYI I'm being followed by a certain someone you might want to hide.

Alexandra sighed and went to her room and shut the door.

Josh stopped at Right Aide and got about every brand of pregnancy test he could find. When he walked up to the counter a boy who was a little younger than he was, was working the counter. Josh laid all the pregnancy tests down on the counter and the not began to ring him up.

"Congrats man!" The cashier said looking up at him. Josh looked at him and when he looked away he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah. Thanks." Josh said. He paid for the pregnancy tests and walked outside. He unlocked his car and noticed Jeremy's car parked a few spots down. He shook his head and started his car, heading home.

He got there and saw that Jeremy was right behind him so he made a mad dash for his apartment. Once he made it in he slammed the ball door shut. He walked into the kitchen and tossed the bag on top of the fridge. Jeremy started knocking at the door then.

Josh noticed that Alexandra had put a roast on and figured she did it as a reason for him to suddenly come home. He walked to the door and the door and opened it.

"Oh Jeremy, what are you doing here?" Josh asked.

"Just thought I'd come by, you seemed a little panicked and rushed. Figured you could use a hand." Jeremy said stepping into the apartment.

"Oh yeah I forgot about the roast I stuck in the oven earlier." Josh answered him. Jeremy eyed him suspiciously and turned around to leave.

"Well I'm glad your roast didn't burn up. I'll see ya later then." Jeremy walked out the door and got in his car moving it to a place where Josh wouldn't see. He then walked back and stuck his ear to the door.

"Josh...what am I suppose to do? I have one positive. What if all of them are?" Alexandra asked standing in her door way.

"You and me will handle it. Here take these. I'm here if you need me." Josh answered. Alexandra nodded her head and picked up the pregnancy tests. There were three in the bag and she opened all three. Sitting down she took all three of them.

Josh sat down on the couch waiting, after about five minutes Alexandra walked out with tears streaming down her face. She had every one of them in her hand. She gave them to Josh and buried her head into her hands and began sobbing.

"They're all positive." She said. Josh looked at each one of them and surely enough they all were. She was pregnant with Jeremy's baby.

"Hey, it'll be okay. I'll take care of the both of you." Josh said. He pulled Alexandra to him and hugged her. He rubbed her back as she continued to sob.

Jeremy couldn't hear a thing. Which pissed him off. He stomped back to his car and left. He just wanted to know where Alexandra was.

Josh heard Jeremy finally leave. He let go of Alexandra.

"Why don't we schedule a doctors appointment and then eat dinner?" Josh asked.

"Okay that works." Alexandra said. Josh picked up the phone and Alexandra went to the kitchen to finish making mashed potatoes and corn to go along with her roast.

Josh dialed the number and listened to it ring.

"Hello, Ocala women's health, what can I help you with?" The woman who answered the phone asked.

"Um yes, I need to schedule an appointment for my girlfriend. We strongly believe she's pregnant." Josh said. The woman looked through her computer and the first available appointment was tomorrow at 3.

"Sir we have an opening tomorrow at 3PM. If that suits you." She said. Josh wrote it down quickly.

"That'll work. Thank you so much." Josh hung up the phone, just as Alexandra was carrying their plates of food over. Josh grabbed silverware and headed over. He sat down across from her and began to eat.

"You have an appointment at 3pm tomorrow. I'll be coming with you." Josh said. Alexandra nodded and they finished their meals in silence.
