Chapter 14: Why Did You Hide Her?

Jeremy stood in Josh's apartment waiting for them to get home. Kevin sat on the couch nervously. He knew Jeremy was pissed once he had gotten the message from Neil.

"Did you fucking know about this?!" Jeremy yelled, turning to Kevin.

"Yes" Kevin answered him.

"Why the hell didn't you tell me? Who all knows? Damn it what kind of friends are you?" Jeremy said thumping down onto Josh's couch.

"We didn't tell you cause Alexandra didn't want us too. She's was scared and she didn't want to be a burden."

Jeremy turned towards him. And stared for a few minutes.

"Did she have sex with anyone else...or is that mine? Did I do that to her?" He whispered. Kevin looked at him. Jeremy looked so sad, so torn to pieces. Why didn't they just tell him about Alexandra and where she was. He could tell just by looking at Jeremy that he was in love with Alexandra.

"Jeremy it's yours..." Kevin sighed. Both of them looked up as they heard the lock turn and then the door open. Alex and Josh walked in as Alexandra followed. Once they noticed that Jeremy and Kevin was there they froze.
Alexandra gasped.

"Oh...hey Jeremy...what are you doing here?" Josh stuttered glancing at Kevin. Alex walked over to the couch and sat beside Kevin. Alexandra tried to sneak off to her room.

"You wait." Jeremy said pointing at Alexandra, "Neil texted me. He was at Ocala women's health with his sister. He saw you leaving. At least not all my friends kept this from me."

Josh looked down at his feet and Alexandra anywhere but at Jeremy.

"We weren't meaning to hurt you Jeremy, just we were trying to keep Alexandra safe." Alex whispered.

Jeremy turned then and stalked off towards Alexandra.

"And you. Don't you think I deserved to fucking know?! Huh? It's not just yours. It's MINE too. I know it wasn't planned and all of it was an accident. That you didn't mean to come home with me that night, but this isn't right for you to keep this from me. Damn it Alexandra!" Jeremy said. Alexandra pushed herself against the wall and Jeremy turned back around.

"What the hell were you three thinking?! Did you think you could keep this from me forever? Fuck! You guys are my best friends and my band mates." Jeremy said. Kevin, Josh and Alex stare behind Jeremy. A little gasping hiccuping sound came from behind him and Jeremy turned around to look.

Alexandra stood there, with her hand over her mouth and tears rolling down her face. Josh took a step towards her but Jeremy was already moving her way.

"I....didn't....want.....to.....be.....a.....burden." Alexandra sobbed. She then buried her face into her hands and slid on to the floor. Jeremy looked at her then crouched down in front of her.

"Hey shhhhh. It's okay. It's fine." Jeremy said wrapping her up in a hug, completely forgetting that he was angry. He rubbed her back and after about a minute she was done crying. Josh, Kevin and Alex stood there watching.

"So now what?" Alex asked, looking at each one of them. Kevin and Josh looked at Jeremy and Alexandra.

"Alexandra is gonna come live in my house with me. She can have her own room and I'll get a nursery set up. After all it is MY baby." Jeremy said glaring at Josh.

Josh sighed and walked into his room. He grabbed some suit cases and walked back out.

"Here I know you don't have any, so just use those and give them back when you're done." He handed the suitcases to Alexandra. She sniffled, then headed to her room. Jeremy following behind.

She walked into the closet and started bringing out her clothes. She still didn't have much.

"You don't have very much. Why is that?" Jeremy asked holding the suitcase open for her.

"I didn't bring much with me when I came." She answered shoving the last bit into the bag.

"Why?" Jeremy asked. Kevin, Josh and Alex stood in the door way.

"Well I'm originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia. My dad was very controlling and we got into an argument one day and I had enough. So I left. What you see is what my friend Danielle sent to me." She answered. Jeremy picked up her two bags and took them to his car after that. Alexandra said goodbye and hugged each and everyone. The two left and then it was only Josh, Alex and Kevin.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" Josh whispered worriedly.

"She'll be fine." Alex said patting him on the back.

Josh sighed. He was gonna miss her. She made the place cozy and he had gotten use to her.
