Alexandra woke up the next morning a little startled at her surroundings. She got up and then realized what had happened and where she was. Ocala, Florida.

Alexandra pulled out her phone and read her messages. Her friend agreed to send her clothes to her. Her dad had sent her multiple messages that she chose to ignore. She went to her moms messages sending her one saying she was okay and she'd call later.

She set her phone down and put on her clothes she had been wearing the day of the argument. She grabbed her keys and phone and left her hotel room.

As she got on the elevator she decided it would be best if she went ahead and looked for a job and an apartment down here. She had a feeling she'd be staying here for awhile.

Alexandra drove through Ocala hoping she wouldn't get lost. She drove around looking at apartment complexes and deciding which one was the cheapest, but nice. She pulled into one called Madison Manor and parked her car in front of the office. She climbed out of her car and walked up to the office, pulling open the door and walking up to front desk.

"Hello, can I help you?" The woman at the front desk asked.

"Ummm, yes. I was just wondering how long the wait list was for an open apartment." Alexandra asked.

"Actually, we have no one on the waiting list right now and a few apartments are open up. If you'd like I could show you them." The woman stated.

"Yeah that would be great thank you." Alexandra replied.

Alexandra followed the women from each apartment, noting which one had the best view and was the nicest. All the apartments came furnished and the only thing she would need is a mattress.

As they got back to the office, the woman started telling Alexandra the prices.

"All apartments are 550$ a month. That includes utilities and electric. A deposit to start off is 800$. Since there were a number of apartments available and if you're still interested, you can choose which ever one you want."

"I like the D4 one. It has a really pretty view. Just let me make sure I have enough money." Alexandra pulled out her phone and typed in her bank info. She still had a little over 3000$ in checking and her 25000$ in savings.

"I have enough so I'll take it." Alexandra happily stated.

"That's great! I have a few papers for you to fill out. And it'll be a few days before you can move in. We just need to make sure there's nothing wrong with the apartment. You won't have to give us the deposit until the day you move in." The woman said handing Alexandra the pile of papers. Alexandra started working out the papers filling out things required for the apartments. The woman was back at her desk typing away and humming to herself.

"Um excuse me?" Alexandra said

"Yes ma'am?" The woman replied.

"Do you know any nursing home, hospital or home health company that's hiring right now?" Alexandra asked.

"I don't know if any of those places are hiring but I do know of an old lady who needs home assistance. I'll give you her address." The woman said. Alexandra finished up the paperwork and handed to her.

"Okay well give you a call when the place is ready. And here's that lady's address. You can go by anytime and talk to her."

"Thank you so much." Alexandra replied. She walked out of the door and got into her car. She smiled and thought of how good everything was going so far.
