Chapter 12: It's Confirmed. So What Next?

Josh woke up the next morning before Alexandra. He decided to write a note telling her he was running to Rite Aide. Josh grabbed his keys and walked out to his car. Jeremy stood by his car waiting for him.

"Where you going Josh?" He asked. Josh sighed and looked at him. He knew he couldn't keep her a secret forever, but he'd keep her a secret for as long as he could.

"I have a headache and I'm out of pain medicine so I'm running to Rite Aide." Josh replied. Jeremy looked at him suspiciously.

"Oh cool. I guess I'll see you tonight then? You know for band practice." Jeremy said.

"Yeah of course man." Josh said climbing into his car. Josh backed out of his parking spot and drove away.

Jeremy made sure he left the parking lot before he ran up to his apartment. He knew where he kept his spare key at and quickly grabbed it. He unlocked his door and walked in. He walked around the apartment, looking around the place. It was cleaner than he usually kept it. He walked to Josh's room and looked in. It was cleaner but no signs of Alexandra. He then walked to the guest room and turned the door handle and looked in.

The room was spotless, there was no sign that anyone had be there. He closed the door.

"Damn it. I swore she'd be here." He said walking out of the room and finally out of the apartment. He got into his car and pulled off.

Alexandra stepped out of her closet and ran out to the living room locking both the lock and the dead bolt. She slid the chain into place and slid down the door.

'That was so close' she thought. She stood up and walked to the kitchen, noticing a note that Josh had left for her. She read it and decided to start breakfast. She cracked some eggs and started frying bacon.

She heard the door knob turn and someone knock on the door.

"Alexandra its Josh. Let me in." Josh said. He listened as he heard her cross the floor. He had run into Alex at Rite Aid and he had asked to come over. Alex knew Alexandra was here and had been keeping it a secret.

Alexandra opened the door and the two boys walked in.

"What you making?" Alex said hugging Alexandra and walking into the kitchen behind her.

"Bacon and eggs. Want some?" Alexandra asked him sweetly. He nodded his head and she made both Josh and Alex a plate and then got ready.

She threw on some red and black plaid skinnies, a Bring Me The Horizon shirt, a black beanie and her Cute To The Core black studded slip on shoes.

She started working on her make up and Josh walked into the room.

"I got you prenatal vitamins. You should probably start taking them now." He said. He heard a gasp behind him and he turned around. Alex was behind him, his eyes as big as plates.

"You got Alexandra pregnant?!" Alex asked. Josh sighed and Alexandra giggled.

"No not me you idiot." Josh said.

"Jeremy?" Alex asked. Alexandra nodded and looked at her feet.

"I wanna come to the doctors too." Alex said. Alexandra looked up at him.

"Okay." She said.

Alexandra, Alex and Josh sat in Ocala women's health.

"Alexandra Woodard." A nurse called standing at a back door. Alexandra and Alex looked at Josh with a raised eyebrow. Josh shrugged and they all stood up and walked back to the back.

The nurse showed them to a room and Alexandra climbed up on the table and waited.

After about 10 minutes a doctor walked in, the nurse following behind them.

"So Ms. Woodard, I hear you believe you're pregnant. Would you like a blood test or just see if we can see anything with the ultrasound?" The doctor asked.

"I guess an ultra sound." Alexandra said. The doctor came over and Alexandra lifted her shirt up exposing her stomach. You could tell she was gaining weight. Even if it was only just a little.

The doctor squeezed a little of the gel stuff onto her stomach and the nurse handed him the wand and turned on the ultra sound computer screen. The doctor placed the wand on her stomach and the screen started to show a black and white picture.

"Well well well. Looks like you're about 5 weeks along. See this little sac here? That's the gestation sac. Your baby is in there and is only an embryo. Congrats!" The doctor said.

Alexandra, Josh and Alex stared in awe at the screen. Josh looked at Alexandra and it finally hit him. She was carrying a tiny life in her. She looked over at the doctor.

"When is my due date sir?" She asked kindly. The doctor looked at her then looked back at the screen.

"You're due date is October 11th." He said. He handed her a pack of papers.

"You can schedule you're next appointment with the ladies at the front desk. See you in about a month Ms. Woodard." The doctor shook her hand and then shook Alex's and Josh's hand. He eyed Alex as he shook his hand. Suspecting him to be the father. He walked out, sighing. He had seen younger girls but for some reason he felt bad for her.

Alexandra, Josh and Alex walked out. Alexandra walked over to the desk and scheduled an appointment. The three of them walked out and got into the car.

"So it's for real. Alexandra I want you to know that I'll take care of you." Josh said hugging her. Alex got into the hug.

"I'll help to." Alex said. Alexandra smiled and all three got into the car and headed home.
