The guys affinity for their element assists in their day-to-day jobs.
Sang is found on an abandoned planet and thought to be a relic.
It isn't until she is placed in a scanner that they learn she is made of human material.
Thus, prompting the team to put her in a replicator and grown into a full-grown woman.
She studies their history and their languages, understanding what her purpose in life is to be.
Yet, she comes to care for each of them in their own unique way and is saddened she will have to sacrifice her life. However, she knows she would do anything in order for them to live a safe and happy life, even if she isn't in it.
