My eyes opened and I felt the sun shining in from the windows. The warmth comforted me and I wanted to lay with it forever but I remembered I had to meet with Dumbledore. That realization made me quickly get up, there was no clock in my room so I had just hoped it was still morning. My bags were sitting on the couch which meant a house elf must have brought them while I was asleep. Kinda creepy. Anyways, I got dressed, throwing on a white button up shirt and a pleated skirt.

I grabbed my wand and made my way out of my room.
When I stepped outside and smelled the fresh Hogwarts air, I realized...

I tried to think back to when Snape had escorted me here but I couldn't recall how to get back to the hall. I saw a girl with curly brown hair walking my way.
"Excuse me?" I asked
She looked at me and her eyes widened
"Yes?" She said in a disgusted tone
I smiled, trying to lighten the mood "Sorry to bother you, I was just wondering if you could point me in the direction of Dumbledores office"
The girl moved her books she was carrying to under her left arm and pointed with her right hand the way that she came. "Take a left at the Slytherin house and walk straight, then a left at the next hallway. His door is large and you won't miss it." and with that she walked away.
I followed her instructions and made my way towards the Slytherin house. As I turned the corner and suddenly ran into a wall. A warm, soft wall. I stepped back
"Watch it new girl"
My eyes finally focused on the boy standing in front of me, the same boy who gave me the sympathetic look last night.
"I'm so sorry" I replied
"Hm, you're an American I see" He said, obviously referring to my accent. He was looking me up and down, not in a perverted way, but more of a interested matter.
