12. a fight, an assignment and a death

Alina moved away from Draco, her knees still weak from the feeling of his breathe on her lips. But the sensation quickly ended as she noticed the nasty Slytherin girl drawing attention to them. Alina rushed out of the hall in embarrassment.

"Where do you think you're going you slut?" She heard Pansy say as she followed Alina in to the corridor

"Oh fuck off Parkinson" Alina spat

"What did you just say? Never talk to me like that again!" Pansy roared back

"Yeah.. or what you bitch" Alina said, moving closer to Pansy

"Stupify" Pansy shot at Alina

Alina flew back hitting the wall. She quickly got to her feet. Alina knew she would get in trouble not only from the school but from her father as well. But she didn't care

"Expelliarmus" Alina shot back, grabbing Pansys wand as it flew through the air.

Alina then walked up to Pansy and punched her right across the face. Leading the girl to fall on the floor and stay there.

"Don't ever try me again pug face or next time I won't be as nice" Alina threw Pansy's wand at her and started for her room.

Once she made it to the familiar painting there was a knock at her door.

"Alina, it's me" Snapes deep voice filled her room.

Alina rushed over to the door. Embracing her father in a hug.

"Dad tonight has been the worse night ever. I was so happy then the pugface bitch had to ruin it"

Snape chuckled a bit at his daughters anger. But a frown filled his face.

"Alina I'm sorry to say, but this night is going to get a lot worse."

Alina now sat in Dumbledores office with her father next to her.

"Ms... well I guess it is Ms.Snape now. I unfortunately need you to begin on your assignment"

Alina nodded, her father now holding her hand.

"Well Alina, I have already informed you that you need to spy on a student at this school. The student however is Draco Malfoy" Alina tensed at the sound of his name "Your father tells me that you two are already quite close. I would like you to become his... girl acquaintance" Dumbldore stuttered at those words, but Alina knew he meant girlfriend. She assumed it was weird for him as the head master to order his student to date another student.

Dumbldore continued "I have told you part of this already but I need you to get to know to his family, and to learn all you can about the death eaters. Your father has already obtained a lot of information of which he will share with you later. But I need someone to be close to Draco,
he may know more than you think and be careless enough to tell you. Alina, although this assignment is going against the Malfoys, I want you to provide support for Draco. Help him see the good in this world. He is a brilliant boy, but he is stuck in a very dark place. Do you understand Alina?"

She then looked at her father, waiting to see if he approved or not. He nodded at her

"I understand Sir, I will be his girlfriend by the end of the year"

"Thank you Alina. You are an brilliant witch, I have no doubt that you will succeed."

"Alina, me and Dumbledore have been speaking and we think it's best if you stay with me over the winter break. We can discuss your mission in more details."

"Sure father. I would love to"

It had been a few weeks since the dance and Draco had tried every way possible to apologize to Alina. She still hated him for not standing up for her but she knew her assignment so she forgave him.

She had been called in to McGonagals office after classes that day. When she entered Hermione Ron and Fleur Delacours little sister were in there as well.

"Ah Ms Hemmings please have a seat"

Alina sat smiling at Hermione and Ron who both had curious looks on their faces.

"I am sorry for this children" and suddenly everything went black.

Alina felt a rush of air fill her lungs as she emerged out of the lake. She looked around and notice she was in Cedrics arms. He carried her on to the deck and she was quickly wrapped in a towel. But suddenly she felt a rush of dizziness hit her. Then everything went black again.

Alina laid there, her skin pale and green. Her lips blue.

"Alina" Snape yelled as he ran through the crowd to his daughter "We must get her to the hospital wing now" He scooped her up and rushed to the wing. Cedric was ordered to stay. And Hermione Ron and Harry were still in the black lake. But they all would have followed if they could.

Snape bursted through the doors of the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey grabbing a bed for Alina.

"What happneed?" She exclaimed seeing the girl who appeared dead.

"She's not breathing. Do something! Please!" Snape yelled

"Madam Promfrey went quick to work trying to make a medicine to give Alina"

Snape stood there hopeless over the bed. Watching his daughter die in front of his eyes.

Dumbledore rushed in followed by McGonogal, Hermione, Ron, and.... Draco.

"How is she" Dumbledore asked

"She's gone" Madam Promfrey announced, beginning to clean up all of her medicines that she attempted to use on the girl.
