17. joining the order

Summer

School would end in a month but I left Hogwarts the night Voldemort returned. Both my father and Dumbledore thought it would be best if I stayed with Molly Weasley, Rons mother. She was a very nice women and took me in open arms, thanking me for tutoring Ginny. She knew all about my life and even though some people in the Order were skeptical about my father, she wasn't. Despite the fact that my father was a death eater, no one questioned my loyalty to the Order seeing as I was raised by Ivory and Sirius, two extremely important members.

I didn't get to say goodbye to any of my friends but Molly told me I would see them soon so I didn't mind. I helped her around the house, cleaning and cooking. I would also teach Arthur, Ron's dad, about the muggle world and it fascinated him greatly.

I was still very angry at Malfoy. My father tried to reassure me many times that Draco actually liked me, apart from his assignment but I was still mad. I think I was more mad at myself though. I mean I am assigned to love him too. It's not right for me to be upset, but my orders came from Dumbledore and his came from Voldemort. Two very different people, with different motives.

Dumbledore had changed my assignment though after I sent him a letter explaining the situation. He told me that since Voldemort was keeping his eye on me, it was better for me to attend meetings with my father but train and work with the order. Basically he wanted me to become a mini Severus Snape.

I didn't mind though, when the time comes I will be able to easily manipulate the death eaters and so my job was still necessary.

1 week later

"Sirius"

"Alina Snape"

He ran at me and pulled  me in a hug. I could feel tears falling down my face.

"My god how much you have grown. You are so beautiful Alina"

"Thank you Sirius"

"Dumbledore and your father have told me much about your new business. I'm so proud of you my dear girl"

"I wouldn't have been able to do any of it without you Sirius."

We took a seat on the couch.

"Alina, I'm sorry about not informing you of your father-"

"It's okay Sirius, it was only to protect me. I understand"

And I actually did understand, in fact I appreciated Sirius more for keeping the secret.

We spent the next few days catching up, him finally being able to tell me everything he knew without having to remove the parts of death eaters and my father.

Hermione and the Weasley kids arrived and I was overjoyed to see them.

I shared a room with Hermione and Ron would be sharing a room with Harry after they went to get him.

Me and Hermione were catching up on what I missed at school

"Draco looked awfully upset these last weeks"

"Good"

"As much as I despise him, I do feel bad Alina. I could tell he really liked you"
