15. the warning

*Warning if you are sensitive to topic of assualt you may want to skip to the next part. Nothing serious occurs but I just wanted to warn you!

"Crabbe move! Now!" Alina yelled. She tried to reach for her wand but he held her hands down.

"What are you doing Crabbe!? Seriously!"

He still didn't respond. Alina felt her body freeze, the only movement she felt was her heartbeating rapidly. He had used Petrificus Totalus on her. The freezing curse.

"HELP!!" Alina tried to scream but the large mansion mixed with the loud music was no hope.

"Wait until my father hears about this!!!" Alina yelped as Crabbe bent down over her. His eyes completely gray. He was cursed.

He began pulling the top of her gown down, exposing her bra and chest. Alina tried not to think about what he was going to do to her next. She began to feel a strong burn on her chest, like he was lighting her on fire.

She screamed in pain but it didn't last long. Crabbe had left the room, leaving Alina laying frozen on the floor.

"Alina!" Draco yelled as he finally broke in to the bathroom. Seeing the girl half naked on the floor.

"Oh merlin what happened to you" He quickly picked her up and laid her on his bed. Lifting the dress back over her breast's and a blanket over her cold body.

"I'm getting your father hold on" He ran out of the room.

A few seconds later Snape bursted through the door "My child what happened to you!" He observed his daughter laying in the bed, her face looking lifeless.

"Crabbe...he was cursed" Alina was able to make out before she felt tears beginning to spill out. She was a strong girl, but what had just happened to her was terrifying.

"He burned...it...on her chest." Draco interrupted looking terrified

Snake removed the blanket from Alina exposing a large burn on her chest in the shape of the dark mark. He ran his fingers lightly against the burn. Causing Alina to whimper in pain.

"He's back" Snape began to pace the room.

"He's back and he's found her" Draco added looking deep in to Alinas dreary eyes.

"We must get her back to Hogwarts, someone here had to have cursed the boy to do this. It is not safe"

"Let me grab my things. I will go back with you guys and help you protect her" Draco rushed over to his dresser.

The three then apparated out of the party without any goodbyes.

"I'm okay, I was just shocked. I'm okay now guys." Alina reassured them as they helped her to her room.

"Nonsense, Draco spend the night here with her I need to go meet with someone" Snape kissed Alinas head and ran off

"Malfoy I'm okay. Really" Alina repeated as she made her way to the bed

"I know you are. You could probably fight off the dark lord on your own. But it would kill me to leave you here and let something happen to you again" He replied, beginning to remove his tie and suit

"Fair enough but at least sit next to me" Alina said. Making a spot for him on her bed. 

He sat next to her. Both of them staring at the fire in silence.

"If I ever see Crabbe again I'm going to kill him" Malfoy mumbled

"Malfoy that's nonsense you know he was cursed. He didn't want to do any of that"

"I don't care, he laid his hands on you and I won't allow that to happen again"

"Oh Malfoy don't do that to yourself. I know you promised my dad you would care for me but don't think any of this could have been avoided. He was going to find me someway, somehow."

"No this is my fault Alina. I should have never left you on your own knowing how many death eaters were there. God I was so stupid to let you go up there alone"

"Malfoy why are you acting so protective. We're just friends. You're not my boyfriend nor my dad and you can't act like you can prevent these things from happening" Alina was starting to get upset "And to be quiet honest, I can handle things myself!"

"Obviously you cant seeing as that was the second time you almost died in the 2 weeks"

"Okay you know what Malfoy. I don't know what has gotten in to you but I'm over your attitude" Alina got up from the bed and began to leave and find her father. But Draco had grabbed her arm

"You don't know what has gotten in to me Hemmings? How about the fact that ever since I've laid eyes on you I haven't been able to sleep at night without thinking about you!" He moved closer to her "Or the fact that since the day we first met, even before your father asked me... I promised myself I would protect you. And I failed Alina. I failed twice, I can't protect you. You're the only thing I really care about in this world and I can't even keep you safe. Do you understand how much that hurts?"

"You- you like me? Don't you"

"Yes you idiot. Of course I like you, I would date you right now if I could" Malfoy felt his face grow hot, he wanted to suck those words back in to his mouth. He didn't think Alina liked him like that and now he blatantly said he wanted to date her.

"I like you too Malfoy" Alina blushed

They stood in silence for a few seconds. Thoughts running rapidly through both their minds.

"Alina, will you be my girlfriend then? So I can have a good reason behind why I want to protect you"

"Yes Malfoy, of course I'll be your girlfriend"
