Those who can’t change their minds can’t change anything.

BELLE'S POV

I walked back inside the lounge carrying her bag and her jacket, walking into her carrying my phone. I was pretty sure she was looking into it, she wasn't even my real girlfriend and she was starting to act like a crazy one.

"What are you doing with my phone?"

She slightly jumped, putting the phone down on the couch and awarding me with a nervous smile, "Nothing, I was just checking the time."

As much as I didn't believe a word she said, I decided to let it go.

"Okay well, you've got to leave."

"That sucks."

"I know, I have business to take care of. I'll call you later, maybe."

Her hazel eyes met my brown ones as she took her bag and the jacket from my hands "Not maybe, definitely."

We both looked at each other, I just wanted to escort her out of the house but I guess she had other plans because she pulled me into a tight hug. Her scent hit my nostrils and I slowly warmed up to the feeling of her body pressed against mine.

"I really wish you could love me," she whispered, not letting go of me. I hated that she was bringing up the whole love thing up again, she couldn't just keep quiet about it.

I lowly replied, pulling away from her hug but keeping her in my arms still, "I really wish you could stop thinking that way."

"I really wish we could fuck again," she giggled, biting her bottom lip and going in for a chaste kiss which I happily accepted.

"I really wish that too but we have no time for that now."

"I really wish ---"

"Enough with the wishes," I sniggered, cutting her mid sentence, I honestly had work to do, "Come on let me walk you out."

She let out an okay, I held her hand as we both made our way out of the room. Right when we were half way, my biggest nightmare happened. Leslie was right there, walking with my butler and it didn't help that when her eyes fell on me and Azola, we probably looked like two love birds.

"Anderson, who is she?," she didn't even waste time in asking and her tone clearly stated that she had a clue about what was going on. I wished the ground would swallow me up and spit me somewhere where I wasn't looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

"Leslie how did you ---"

She cut me off, "Are you cheating on me?"

"Hie, Leslie right, I'm Azola," Azola smiled, extending her arm to get a handshake from Leslie.

"You're the college girl aren't you."

"Oh you remember me," Azola grinned, looking cheery. What was wrong with her? Wasn't it obvious that this wasn't the right time to be presenting such a happy mood?

"Leslie, I'm sorry. I don't know why I did it," I decided that standing there quiet and watching the two women interact wasn't helping.

"Is she the only one?"

Leslie's voice dripped with animosity. And right then, my body found it right to betray me through my actions. I couldn't answer her even if I wanted to, I couldn't lie to her either; it wouldn't help.
