Perfection
Seems like a distant dream
A reflection
Of the way the world should have been
Sorrow
I'm Bursting at the seams
Nightmares
Overshadowing my dreams
Space
Is all that's left
A void
Cause I'm bereft
Love
Is what I've lost
Freedom
That came at too high a cost
Darkness
Surrounds my heart
Pain
Ripping me apart
Light
Seems to shine through
A promise
Of a happier tune
Fine
Soon I may be
In repair
That defines me
Flames
To burn the past away
Water
Wild enough to make a ship sway
Chaos
Is all I can see
Order
Is perfection to me
But perfection
Is still a distant dream
