My dreams haunted by ways we could take
All those grand plans that I'd made
Remain voices bouncing in my head

But all you wanted
Was to get away from me

You broke me into
A million tiny pieces
Yet I still loved you
The girl with two faces
If you only knew
What I gave up for you
Maybe you'd see

But this ain't no fairytale
Where the prince gets the girl

The queen of my world
But I'm just so tired
Of wallowing in tears
So I'm gonna stand up
And face all my fears
I'm saying goodbye to you
A girl who I loved

To my angel from above
Cause sometimes it seems
Cupid misses his mark
And the differences between us
Were just too stark
So I'm laying this to rest
And walking away

Goodbye to yesterday.
