The Encounter (Gladion x Reader)

Chapter 7

* y/n POV *

You wake up with the sun shining on your face, with the sound of wild Pikipek chirping outside telling you to wake up. Of course you're excited to get up out of bed considering what happened last night and what's happening today. You're going to see Gladion and spend the day with him. You're so happy, you get dressed, grab your things, and run down stairs to eat quickly.

"What are you so happy about y/n" y/n mom said

"Nothing" you said looking down

"She's happy because she got her new boyfriend" Sun said laughing

"What boyfriend?" y/n mom and y/n dad said questioning

"SUN!" y/n said

"Hahaha" Sun laughed

Before you could catch him, he ran out of the room and your parents stopped you from chasing him.

"What boyfriend y/n?" y/n dad said

"His name is Gladion. Trust me dad, he's really sweet once you get to know him." y/n said

"Well I'd like to meet him" y/n mom said

'Oh crap' I thought

"You don't have to meet him just yet. Hehe" you laughed nervously

"Why not. Invite him over tonight for dinner. It'll be fun." y/n mom said

"Ok. I'm going to meet him now so I'll tell him when I see him. Bye." y/n said

I walked out the door quickly thinking 'oh man, how is this going to go down'.

* Time Skip *

I finally see Gladion where we were supposed to meet up. It was where we first met. On the beach. That's where we were going to hang out today. I ran up to him and jumped in his arms giving him a kiss on the lips and him kissing me back.

"Hey Gladion. Before we get this awesome day started, there's something I gotta tell you."

* Gladion's POV *

I was waiting for y/n at our spot on the beach where we first met. I see her and she jumps into my arms giving me a kiss and of course I kiss back.

"Hey Gladion. Before we get this awesome day started, there's something I gotta tell you." y/n said

My heart began to beat fast. She looked sad yet, unsure of something. I was worried.

"What is it?" I said

"My parents found out I had a boyfriend and they want to meet you so they invited you over for dinner tonight and I couldn't get you out of it." y/n said quickly

I started to laugh

"Hey! What's so funny!"

"Nothing. I thought what you were going to say would be something way worse. But of course I'll come over for dinner. And before you say anything, I'll change into nicer clothes just for you." I said

She put a smile right back on her face. The smile that made me fall in love with her.

"Ok. Good." y/n said

Then we shared a hug. We then let out our Pokémon to run around and play on the beach while y/n and I sat there and talked and enjoyed our quality time together. Nothing could be better.

* y/n POV *

It was dinner time and Gladion was almost here. I was nervous, yet excited. Nervous on how my family would behave around him. But excited that he would come to see me at my house. I was pacing back and forth in my room when I heard a door bell.
