The Encounter (Gladion x Reader)

Chapter 11

* y/n POV *

You jolt up off the couch landing on the floor thinking about what happened last night in the kitchen.

"So it wasn't a dream. Oh god." you said quietly

You looked over at Lillie still sleeping and you went to the bathroom. You looked at yourself splashing cold water on your face

"No y/n. He hurt you. He betrayed you. But the kiss felt good and passionate. Damn it." you said

You walk back out of the bathroom and Lillie is now up

"Morning y/n" Lillie said

"Morning Lillie" you said

You were trying to stay calm and not give away what happened last night. Even though she knew what happened. Gladion and her planned the whole thing.

*Gladion's POV *

I wake up with the sun in my face and I roll over thinking about what happened last night. What happened with me and y/n. I wonder how she's feeling this morning. I have to make her mine again. But one step at a time.

* y/n POV *

You get dressed and you grab your things because after you eat breakfast with Lillie you're leaving to go home. You walk downstairs and there's the best breakfast buffet in the kitchen.

"Go and grab whatever you like y/n" Lillie said

You take your favorite breakfast food and sit down and eat. Being in the kitchen reminds you of what happened but you try to block it out. You watch as Sylvion and Nine Tails are eating and then Gladion walks in. You turn a shade of pink and you look back down and eat your food quickly not looking at him.

"Good morning everyone. Good morning y/n" Gladion said in a jokingly way towards you.

"Morning" you said still looking down

You finished eating

"Thank you so much for having me over but we've gotta go. Bye." you said quickly

You grabbed your things and you Sylvion and Nine Tails ran out the door. Everyone was looking at each other weird, while Gladion was just sitting there smiling.

* Gladion's POV *

I come down stairs in the kitchen and I see y/n eating. I say good morning to everyone and she's not looking at me. Her face is getting red. It's cute. But then she leaves so quickly. I'm getting to her. I know it.

* Time Skip *

* y/n POV *

You finally stop running and you end up in the park and you sit down on the bench out of breath. You can't stop thinking about Gladion. 'STOP IT Y/N. STOP IT!'. Sylvion and Nine Tails look at you worried.

"Syl?

"Nine?"

They say

"I'm ok. Just confused. Really confused!" you said

Just then a Pikachu comes right in front of you looking at you

"Pika. Pikachu" he said smiling

"Awww a Pikachu." you said

You picked him up and you started tickleing his stomach.

"Do you have a trainer?" you said

"Pika"

"Pikachu! Where did you go!"

Just then a kid with black hair wearing a red hat and a blue and white striped shirt with jeaned ran up to you.

"Pikachu. There you are. Don't run off like that again."

"Pika" Pikachu said with his head down

"I'm sorry. Your Pikachu ran up to me and hopped on my lap. I didn't mean to worry you. Hehe" you said.

"No it's ok. I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet town. What's your name?" he said

" I'm y/n y/l/n from y/t(your town). Nice to meet you. And these are my partners. Sylvion and Nine Tails." you said smiling

"WOAH! You have a Sylvion and Nine Tails. So cool!" he said

"Yeah." you said

Just then someone was peering around the corner. Gladion. He was trying to come find you to talk to you. But then he saw you with Ash and he was getting jealous. He clenched his fist and walked away.

"Hey Ash. Your battling skills are awesome. I've seen you in action before and you're pretty cool."

"Wow thanks. Hey. Why don't we have a battle." he said

"Ummm. Why not. It'll get my mind off something that just happened. And I don't really want to talk about it." you said

"Alright then. Let's go!" he said

"Ok Sylvion. I chose you. And Ash. Just because we're girls, doesn't mean you should go easy on us. Give it all you got!" you said

"I was planning on it. Pikachu, I chose you!" he said

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Sylvion, Dodge and use Disarming Voice!"

"Pikachu Dodge it!"

He Dodged the move

"Pikachu use Electro Ball!"

"Sylvion use Fairy Wind!"

Fairy Wind hit Electro Ball back and hit Pikachu

"Pikachu are you ok? Ash said

"Pika" Pikachu said determined

"Ok. Pikachu use Quick Attack!"

"Sylvion Dodge"

But he hit Sylvion

"Sylvion are you ok"

"Syl" she said

"Ok. Let's win this! you said

"Pikachu use Quick Attack one more Time!"

"I had a feeling he was going to call that. Sylvion use Attract!"

"Syl"

Sylvion winked at Pikachu and Pikachu had hearts in his eyes.

"Pikachu! Snap out of it!" Ash said

"Quick. While we still have him. Use Draining Kiss!"

Sylvion walked to Pikachu and kissed his cheek making Pikachu go red then he fainted. Draining Kiss sucks all the energy out of the Pokémon so they won't be able to move or battle.

We all then run up to Pikachu and he has swirls in his eyes.

"Awww Pikachu are you ok buddy" Ash said

"Pika" he said

"Here. Give him this. It's an energy berry. It'll boost him back up." you said

Ash gave Pikachu the berry and he was all better.

"Thanks y/n. Good battle" he said

"Thanks. You too. I have to go home. It was nice meeting you Ash Ketchum. Maybe we'll see each other again. Goodbye Pikachu." You said

"Ok. Goodbye y/n. Goodbye Sylvion and Nine Tails. It was nice meeting you too."

"Pika!"

Then both of you parted ways. This was the best battle you've had with anyone you've faced. And hanging with Ash today made you feel better about Gladion. 'Dang it. Now I'm thinking about Gladion again. What am I going to do' you thought to yourself.

"I should go talk to him. Yes. No. Maybe? Now I'm just talking to myself. Ok. I'll talk to him. Tomorrow."
