The Encounter (Gladion x Reader)

Chapter 9

* y/n POV *

It's the next morning of what happened last night. And you don't want to get out of bed. You're too upset, so your under your blankets with your knees to your chest trying not to cry again. Eevee and Nine Tails are right beside you trying to cheer you up. You give them a soft smile, but then it fades away.

"y/n come on. You have to get up. It's 12 o'clock. You can't stay in bed all day." y/n mom said

You didn't tell your mom because it only happened last night. And you definitely didn't want to tell your dad because who knows what he'd do to Gladion. And how would Sun react.

"Yes I can." you said

"Come on. I need you to go out and get some fresh air." y/n mom said

She pulled off your covers and you groaned

"Ughhh fine!" you said

You got up, changed, got something to eat, and you headed out with Eevee and Nine Tails by your side.

You were walking down the street when you heard a familiar voice.

"Hey y/n! Wait up!"

You turn around and see Hau running towards you. But he was with someone else too. Another girl. She was wearing a white dress and she had blonde hair and green eyes. She also had a white Alola Volpix. She looked familiar to someone. I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

"Hey Hau, what's up. I see Rowlet evolved into Dartrix from the last time I saw him. He looks cool." you said

"Yeah he did. And I see you caught a Nine Tails. That's awesome!" Hau said

"Yup." you said

"Oh sorry. This is my friend Lillie. Lillie this is my friend y/n." he said

"Nice to meet you y/n. This is my partner Snowy" Lillie said

"Vol" her Volpix said

"Nice to meet you. These are my partners Eevee and Nine Tails." you said

"Eevee"

"Nine"

Snowy walked up to Nine Tails and looked up at her. They couldn't meet face to face because she was so small. Nine Tails looked down at Snowy and licked her face. We all laughed

"That means she likes you Snowy" you said

"Vol" she said

"Why don't we all get something to eat. How about masalas'. They're so good!" Hau said

"Sure why not." you said

You all went to a café and ordered the food. You couldn't stop looking at Lillie. She looked so familiar. The blonde hair. The green eyes. It looked so familiar. Just then, you realized. It snaped right in your brain. 'Gladion'

"Hey Lillie, can I ask you something? you said

"Sure" she said

"Do you have a brother?" you said

"Yes. I do. He comes and goes off and on." she said

Her head was down looking sad.

"What's his name?" you said

You were just waiting for the answer to come out

"Gladion. Why do you ask?" she said

You were frozen still before brought back to reality.

"Oh, I uh, I met him before, and when I saw you, you looked so much like him so I had to ask." you said

"Oh. Ok." she said
