*Allie P.O.V.*
3 years later

I was hanging out with Daisy at the Boar's Nest while Bo and Luke were running their usual errands for Uncle Jessie. I guess I was lost in thought because Daisy was waving her hand in front of my face. "Are you good Allie," she asked. "Yeah. Just thinkin'," I said. "What about," she asked wiping down the bar. "I don't want to talk about it," I said. In truth I didn't know what to say. A couple years ago I finally gave my virginity to Luke and we've had sex several times since. But lately I've been feeling weird and a couple days ago I decided to take a home test and found out that I'm pregnant with his child. "You sure you seem like you need to get something off your chest," Daisy said breaking me out of my thoughts again. "Is there somewhere we can go that's more private," I asked. She put away her rag and told her boss that she was going on a quick break and led me to the back in Hogg's old office.

"No one will hear us in here," she said closing the door behind us. "Daisy I don't know what to do," I said tearing up. "Honey. What's wrong? You want a drink," she asked walking towards the scotch cabinet. "I wish I could. Daisy I could really use a hug," I said. She shut the cabinet the walked back over to me and gave me a big hug. "Now let's sit down and talk about this. What's wrong," she said. "I'm pregnant Daisy. And I'm freaking out," I said. "That's amazing. Not the freaking out part, but the pregnant part. Have you told Luke yet," she asked. "That's the thing. I don't know how to tell him. He's been so busy helping Uncle Jessie and I've just been trying to figure out how to tell him. I've already planned to go visit family in Bluebell for a while. At least until I figure out how I'm going to provide for this baby," I said. "Bluebell sounds like a great idea, but you should at least tell Luke before you go," she said. "I leave in two days. My Uncle is one of the town doctors so he'll be able to make sure both me and the baby stay healthy," I said. "Well I guess I'll drive you," she said with a smile. "You're not mad," I asked. "Of course not. I know how this town is with wedlock pregnancies. I completely understand why you are going, but you have to tell him," she said.

We stood up to leave and Daisy got back to work just as Bo and Luke arrived at the Nest. Luke caught sight of me and I put on my best fake smile. "Hey baby," he said giving me a kiss. We sat at a table with Bo for a bit before Bo wandered off somewhere and I looked to Luke. "Hey I'm pretty tired. Can you walk me home," I said. "Yeah. Daisy if you see Bo, will you let him know that I'm taking Allie home," Luke said. "Sure thing Luke," she said. We walked outside and made our way to my house. "We need to talk," I said breaking the silence. "What about," he asked. "Serious things," I said. He looked at me and stopped walking. "You're not breaking up with me are you," he asked. "No. Of course not. Luke I'm going away for awhile," I said. "How long is a while," he asked. "I don't know. A year at most, I just need some time to sort things out. Away from the chaos of Hazzard," I said. "I'll come with you," he said grabbing my hands. "No you're needed here, in Hazzard. Uncle Jessie needs you, Bo needs you," I said trying to convince him. "So stay at the farm. With us as a Duke," he tried again. "Luke I can't. This is something I need to do on my own," I said. We walked the rest of the way in silence and when we reached my porch he tried again. "If you stay in Hazzard and stay at the farm, I'll personally see to it that no chaos comes your way," he said. "I'm sorry Luke. I leave the day after tomorrow," I said before turning to go into my house to finish packing.

I woke up early to morning sickness the day I was leaving for Bluebell. After I was feeling a little better, I gathered my bags and headed down stairs where Daisy was waiting with Uncle Jessie's truck. Cooter helped me load my things and I said goodbye to them. Just as Daisy was about to start the truck the General came zooming around the corner with Luke in the driver's seat. He came to a stop and jumped out of the car and came to my window. "Before you go I just have to say one thing," he said. I climbed out of the truck and we stood by the bed of the truck to talk. "I just wanted to say that I love you," he said. "Luke I love you too, but I'm still going to leave town for a while," I said hugging him tight and climbing back into the truck. I waved bye to everyone as Daisy drove away. We were driving for a while and I eventually fell asleep until Daisy shook me awake when we got to town. "Hey where do you want me to take you," she asked. "You can just drop me off at my Uncle's doctor office," I said pointing in the direction. She drove in the direction I pointed and when we came to a stop in front of the house turned office she turned to me. "Did you even tell him why you were leaving," she asked. "Well. I tried, but I couldn't," I said. "You need to tell him. And soon," she said. We got out of the truck and she helped me with my bags then I went inside, with my bags, to find my Uncle Brick. I sat down in the waiting room and I saw someone walk out to the waiting room with a clipboard not looking up. "One of the doctors will be right with you," the girl said. I looked up at her and recognized her as Rose. "Rose Hattenbarger? Is that you? Man you've grown up," I said. She looked up at me and it took her a moment to recognize me. "Allie. I didn't even recognize you," she said. "Is my Uncle here," I asked after releasing her from a hug. "Yeah I'll be right back," she said then went into one of the examination rooms.

I sat back down and waited a few minutes. Then the door opened again and a mother and a little girl walked out with my Uncle Brick not far behind. "Allie. So wonderful to see you," he said hugging me. "It's great to see you too," I said.
