Analysis: 'Gotta Go' shows a different side to Sooyoung as she moves away from the 'girl crush' concept she usually portrays. The song shows a different side of love or interest and this is shown clearly in the lyrics. Sooyoung expresses in the song that she wants to stay with a particular love interest but can't. It show the concept of her mind vs her heart. Her mind is letting her know she can't stay with this person but her heart wants to be with the person no matter what.

Track Two: 'Hero' Producers: H43RIN
"Dear lover, I'm incapable of saving your heart this time. But if you wanna, I'll pretend to be your hero for just tonight."
Analysis: 'Hero' is an upbeat dance song that is accompanied with a fresh electronic vibe. In the song Sooyoung expresses her feelings of being fed up with her love interests decisions wanting nothing more than to move on from them. But seeing as the person is feeling quite vulnerable and going through a rough time she decides to care for them one last night even if it's just pretend.

Track Three: 'How deep is your love?' ENG Producers: LDN Noise, maX, roe
"How deep is your love? Is it like the ocean? What devotion? Are you? How deep is your love?"
Analysis: 'How deep is you love?' is a hypnotic dance pop song that touches on the fascination with the idea of love being something deep. The song express a plea for intimacy as Sooyoung shows that she wants her love to be based not on separation but on the greatest closeness possible. It challenges the idea of 'What is love?' and 'Is intimacy necessarily love filled or more desire driven?'.

This time round my beautiful team and I have been working on more mature songs compared to the type of music you normally see me singing solo.
