"Did I stutter Stanley?"

A I R A

It was lunch break now. I had successfully managed to avoid Aiden all day as well as Kiara's and Ava's questions. And now I was dreading to walk over to our lunch table, cause seeing him was kinda inevitable now.

After the both of us kissed, I had shoved him off of me as soon as I regained my senses and ran away from there.

So now I had two ways to deal with this situation I got myself into. One, to acknowledge what happened and make it awkward. Two, to act like nothing happened and just pretend everything was just the same. Even though it was far from being just the same.

After much contemplation I decided to go with the latter and hence why I am heading over to our lunch table as if everything is normal while inside I'm dreading.

"Hey guys." I greet them all while sitting down. Unfortunately it was right across the devil himself. And him staring right at me without averting his glance is just unnerving me.

"Hey." They all greet and soon we are dissolved in random conversations. The whole time I could feel his stare on me. I know the others noticed the tension between us too but didn't bother commenting on it. For which I was very thankful.

"Sweetheart. A word." Aiden just had to open his mouth didn't he. I don't know why but now I was irritated. I mean the fact that I hadn't glanced at him this whole time was a huge give-away that I was not in the mood to talk to him.

"Sorry. I'm eating." I replied not sounding sorry at all.

"It wasn't a request sweetheart."

"Well, that was my answer honey."

"Don't test me Aira. If you don't wanna come with me, fine. We'll talk here itself." He says with a smirk.

"Fine. You wanna talk? Talk." I tell him not knowing what game he was playing now.

"Your wish sweetheart. Don't tell me I didn't warn you. So right on point, it was amazing kissing you I would like to try it sometime again. Soon."

At this I choked on the food I was eating and started coughing rapidly. That asshole just had to tell that so loudly that half the cafeteria had to hear him. Didn't he? After I calmed down I replied.

"I don't know what you're talking about Aiden but all I know is that you are sounding really desperate right now."

"So you say you don't know what I'm talking about sweerheart." He says lifting one of his eyebrows as if challenging me.

"Did I stutter Stanley? I'm pretty sure that's what I just said." I reply with a smirk.

He narrows his eyes at me and swiftly stands up from his chair and right beside me. He so very easily turns my chair to face him and pulls me towards him. Great! Now we have the attention of the whole cafeteria.

"Don't sass me princess. I wouldn't mind reminding you of what you have forgotten. Right here. In the middle of the cafeteria." He says pressing me even closer to him.

"Yeah maybe. But the problem is that there is nothing to be reminded of Aiden." I know I was provoking the beast. But right now all I wanted to do was just that. Provoke him.

"You are playing with fire sweetheart. Both you and I know I wouldn't hesitate to kiss the life out of you. Right here. Infront of everyone." He whispers in my ear.

Suddenly I don't feel so good with continuing to provoke him. I push him off me and surprisingly he moves back. I guess he knew he had go to me. I slowly turn and make my way out the cafeteria not once glancing back as I was sure as hell that he was there right behind me.

After reaching the back of the school building I stop and turn towards him. But immediately narrow my eyes at him seeing where his eyes were just a few seconds before. No wonder he didn't bother me during our walk out here.

"It would be appreciated if you stop staring at my ass." I tell him, eyes narrowed and teeth clenched.

"But your ass is begging to be appreciated princess." He says with a pout and a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

"You wanted to talk right? So talk." I say ignoring his previous cooment.

"Right. So, about the kiss..." He trails off.

"What about it?" I say ignorantly.

"Aren't we gonna talk about it?" He says narrowing his gaze at me.

"What's there to talk about it? It was just in the heat of the moment. One kiss doesn't mean anything. It was just a kiss that's all. A kiss that was not meant to happen. But, it did. So we just forget about it and move on. It was just a one time thing anyway."

Guess my words hit him perfectly. It was my way of getting at him for what he pulled off at the cafeteria.

"Don't test me princess. Now since you are done talking, now listen to me. It's just a kiss you say, but both you and I know it's not just that. Tell me princess, do you kiss every random guy the way you kissed me." He whispers in my ear. His hands on my collarbone. His thumb rubbing smooth circles on my exposed skin.

"I don't know Aiden. Maybe. Cause you would have definitely heard of my one-night stands. I don't think it should come off as a surprise when I say it was just a random kiss." I don't acknowledge the part where he says that I don't kiss random people the way I had kissed him. Cause that part was true. Though I would never agree that to him.

This time what I said really got to him. Cause I could see his jaw clenching and his eyes, they held an emotion that I didn't quite recognise.
After staring at me for a few minutes with that heated gaze of his, his eyes now hold a dangerous gleam in them and his lips morph into a devilish smirk.

"Bet you didn't ever wonder what happened to each one of your one-night stands after that." His tone send chills down my spine.

"What do you mean?" I question him, confused.

"You know what I mean sweetheart. Don't try to cross me. You will regret it. For now, I think we arw done talking, but that doesn't mean we are done discussing our sweet kiss princess." His tone warning me to shut my mouth and not anger him more.

He then removes his leather jacket and makes me wear it. He then zips it up almost till my neck. I silently oblige, not wanting to further anger him, because I was sure I would regret the consequences. But that doesn't mean I stay quite about it.

"Why?" I ask.

"Don't you think what you're wearing shows a lot of skin sweetheart. I'm pretty sure it does."

Okay now I was pissed. No one, I mean no one tells me how to dress. I had thought he wanted me to wear his leather jacket cause it was his, not because of what I'm wearing.
I move back, swiftly remove the jacket and throw it right back at him.

"No one Aiden. I mean no one tells me what to wear and what to not." I tell him sternly. Because now, I was pisssd.

"You never make it easy do you sweetheart. Fine by me. Let's go the hard way." He says in a tone that tells me he's enjoying this.
