"So, What's The Kid's Name?"

A I R A
A few months back

The bell had just rung and signalled the start of lunch. As usual I was walking past the teenagers in the hallways towards my locker. It was just like everyday, bright and sunny.

As I spot my locker I quickly open it and stuff my books. As soon as I closed it shut, I was met with a cute guy. He was hot but in a cute way.

"Hi." He said shyly.

"Need any help?" I ask him.

"No! I was just wondering if you would like to go out with me?"

He was all flustered and that made him look even more cute and innocent. Only if I knew how wrong I was then.

"You mean like a date?"

"Yeah like a date."

"Okay, sure." I shrugged casually.

But I was worried about him though. I mean every time I had gone on a date with someone, they would come back the next day with chcolates and a card that showed that they taught of me as a sister.

It was really starting to get on my nerves. It had been a really long time since I had been on a date and I was actually kinda, teeny-tiny bit excited.

"Tomorrow 7:30?" He asked.

"Sure. Give me your number so that I can text you my address."

We then exchanged numbers and parted our ways. I headed over to our lunch spot and found Kai looking through her phone.

"Hey! Guess what!?" I exclaimed as I lay my butt on the chair.

"Your brother's coming home?" She asked excitedly.

"No." I said narrowing my eyes at her.

My brother and Kai together is a disaster. They always succeed in getting on my nerves and embarrassing me all the damn time.

"I got asked out on a date. It's been so long and I am kinda excited." I tell her.

"What!?" She exclaims.
"How is it possible even after the way all the guys turned out after your date?" She questions. And murmurs something under her breath about the threats not being strong enough. But I just ignore it.

"So, what's the kid's name?" She asks.

It wasn't until then that I realized I didn't even know his damn name. Kai starts laughing very loudly getting everyone's attention.

I just simply glare at her and whack her on the head.

"You know what? I think I actually know his name." I tell her.

"And how exactly do you know his name?" She asks with a smirk.

"Well, we exchanged numbers and so his name must be in my recently added contacts list." I say with a smirk of my own.

"So what's his name?"

"Ashton."

"Ashton what? I mean he needs to have a last name right."

"Of course he does. But why do I even need the last name? It's not like it matters right."

She simply nods her head and starts texting someone.
