"Promise Me"
A I R A
"We went onto many dates after that, and one fine day he asked me to be his girlfriend. And I happily said 'yes' cause he was brave enough to endure getting beaten up for me." I tell Aiden.
Aiden simply nods and asks me to continue.
"Everything was going on well. Both the brothers of mine didn't like him though. Xavier was always being a brat to him while Justin just ignored him."
"Didn't you ever ask for their reasons for their behaviour?" Aiden questioned.
"I did. I did ask. But all the both of them could say was that he was not what I deserved and that I deserve someone so much better. When asked who, none of them respond.
I didn't care though. I mean I did care at first but then realised that if they really wanted me happy they would just let me be me.
I so wish I had realized back then how much of a wrong choice I had made. But nothing is going to change now, is it? What's happened will never change.
You know what hurts the most? It's that I really did believe he loved me. I could say he did when I looked into his eyes while he told me that he has loved me for a while now.""He said that he loved you?" Aiden asked, to which I just nodded yes.
"Did you tell it back?" He asks again as though it was painful for him to hear the answer. Didn't know why though."No I didn't. I didn't love him. But I did really really like him though. Maybe if it had continued further it would have bloomed into something more. But whatever it is, I am happy. I'm happy that I didn't love someone like him. Even if I did, I don't think I'll ever acknowledge it.
*********
A few months after they started dating..."Hey sis!" Justin greeted me.
"What do you want? I'm busy." I replied.
"Busy doing what? Hogging each other's face, swapping saliva or shoving your tongues down eachother's throats?" He said, annoyance dripping each word of his.
"Look, I'm in no mood to fight with you right now. What do you want? If all you have called for is showing your annoyance then I'm cutting the damn call. I still don't understand why you hate him so much." I reply with equal annoyance. I was done with him right now.
"Whatever. Just pick up Xavy will you. He is waiting at the bus stop. God knows why that kid doesn't listen to anything anyone says."
"Okay I'll get him home."
"He is with you, isn't he?" He asks referring to Ashton.
"Yeah. He and I are gonna bring Xavy back." I cut the cqll without waiting for his response.
"Hey! We have gotta make a quick detour." I tell Ash as he was driving the car.
"Sure. The bus stop right?"
"Yeah."
As he was driving there he kept glancing at his phone. I didn't know why, but I just let it be.
But after sometime he kept his phone aside and placed his hand on my thigh. Slowly going up and rubbing soft circles. It felt so good that I couldn't help but let out a small, soft moan. Pleased with my response he just smirked. He slowly went even higher, his fingers were right at my entrance. All that was was separating his fingers from my core was my clothes.
Just like that he slowly stopped the car, removed my seatbelt and swiftly pulled me onto his lap. I hadn't even realised we were just 100 metres from the bus stop. His slowly slipped his hands inside my shirt. I entangled my fingers into his hair. We made out. Hard. After 10 minutes or such I went back to my seat satisfied.
