"What do I even do with you"

A I R A

Later that night, Aiden had dropped me back home. He had taken me out for dinner so I just took a shower, changed into much comfortable clothes and went to lie on the bed. Just like that my mind went back to earlier tonight about the conversation I had with Aiden.

"Why do you like to test me so much princess." He asks, gently caressing my face with the back of his hand.

"What do you mean?" I ask, playing with his hair in which my hands were still buried.

"You know I like you right?" He questions.

"I think you made it pretty much clear when you kissed me back infront of the whole school and called me yours like a goddamn cave man last month."

"Don't you like me back princess?"

"I never said I don't."

"So does that mean you do?"

"I didn't say that either."

"So you wouldn't mind if I go stick my tongue down some chick's throat?" He asks slightly smirking.

"I dare you to do that." I tell him while tugging at his hair, hard and looking directly into his eyes.

"Then what's the problem sweetheart? Because I have already lost you once and I'm not ready to lose again."

I remain silent, not knowing what to answer to that. I myself wasn't sure as to what was stopping me from giving in to him.
After a few minutes I decide to let him in.

"I guess it all goes back to Ashton and my brother." I tell him.

"You blame yourself for what happened to your brother." He states.

When I don't reply he takes it as his cue to continue. He gently takes my face in his palms and caresses my cheek with his thumb.

"Listen Aira. What happened to your brother was not your fault. If someone is to blame it's Ashton and not you." He tells, determined.

"Xavier wouldn't have died had I not been a horny bitch. I was with him for months and yet not once had I realized who he was or what his intentions were. I mean he seemed like such a  nice guy."

"Answer me. Would you have been with him had you known the outcome of your relationship?" He asked.

"No." I say as I look at him as if had grown another head.

"Exactly my point princess. It's not your fault. You wanna blame someone, blame him, blame Ashton."

Both of us then settle into a comfortable silence.

"Go on a date with me." He more like demands than asking.

"Are you seriously demanding me to go on date? What if  I didn't want to?" I ask him though we both knew that was not true.

"I know your answer would be yes so what's the point in asking." He says arrogantly while shrugging.

I simply stare at him with narrowed eyes and shake my head.

"What do I even do with you."

"For starters, you can kiss me." He says grinning.

Before I could reply my stomach starts grumbling. I look away from him embarrassed. I bet my cheeks were slowly turning red.

"Well guess we gotta fill you first." He says chuckling.

I get back onto my seat and he starts the car driving to he local diner.
As soon as we reach there he parks the car and  walks over to open my door. He locks the car as I get out and we walk to the diner.

We settled in the corner booth and wait for the waiter to get our orders while skimming through the menu.

Soon our food is served and I start to eat peacefully when he suddenly speaks up.

"Do you know how hard it was for me to see you so happy  with him. All through the years I had managed to keep all the guys away, and of course it was with your brother's help."

"Wait, my brother had a part in you beating up people?"

"How else did you think I know about your one-night stands. I am no stalker princess." He says scoffing.

"No wonder he hesitated while answering me. Did he also have a part in you not approaching me all these years?" I ask him genuinely  curious.

"May be, may be not." He says shrugging.

"I think I got my answer loud and clear hunny buns."

"Hunny buns?" He questions.

"Well since you call me princess I decided I should have a nickname for you too." I tell him grinning.

"And the best you could come up with is hunny buns?" He asks in disbelief.

"Why, don't you like it sugar plum?" I ask him innocently.

"Okay let's get this straight. You suck at this. Let's stick with Aiden alright." He says while grimacing at my choice of nicknames.

"Not happening sugar cube."

We simply kept bickering until both of us were done. After we were finished we headed back home. As he stopped infront of my house he turned off the engine and turned towards me.

"So... have you given it a thought?" He asks.

"I don't know." I reply indecisively.

"Give it a try princess. You know you want to."

"Fine." I say letting out a groan.

"Don't act like you don't like me too princess."

"Never said  I do."

"So you don't?"

"I didn't say that either."

"Not this conversation again." He says groaning and dragging his hand down his face.

"Bye honey bear."  I tell him while trying to open the door. The keyword being 'trying'.

"Not so soon princess." He says smirking.

"Now what do you want?"

"My goodnight kiss princess." He says tapping his lips with his forefinger.

I turn over to him to give him a quick peck on his lips. But he seems to have his own plans. He pulls me onto his lap. Agian. And kisses me more heatedly. What I intended to be an innocent  peck turned out into a heated kiss.

With that I turn to get out his car and he doesn't stop this time. He doesn't drive away until I am inside my home.

With my last thoughts being of a certain green eyed boy I go into a deep slumber not knowing what tomorrow held.
