After dinner at Hanks house, which went slightly better then Jay thought they got into Jays truck and drove off.
"So that wasn't too bad was it?" Erin said taking Jays hand in hers.
"I guess not, I mean now I can add another tally to my score" Erin have Jay a confused look "Of how many times I have seen Hank Voight smile."
They both laughed and continued to drive home. Once they got home Jay chuckled his wallet and keys onto the bench, while Erin went and grabbed them a couple beers.
As they said down, Jay ran his fingers through Erins hair, "Hey Er, can I ask you something."
"Sure, what's up?" She folded her legs up onto the lounge.
"It's been playing in my head for a couple weeks now, we'll ever since we moved in together. We didn't rush things did we?"
"I don't think so Jay, I mean we stayed with each other pretty much every night." She said smiling.
"Yeah I guess."
"Jay spit out what your trying to say."
Jay took a sip of his beer then looked at her "Since we are living together your not expecting kids or a wedding anytime soon are you?"
Erin leant back and chuckled "Adam gotten into your head?"
Jay shrugged his shoulders "You could say that."
"Jay we have been dating for 6 months, of course I don't expect any of that anytime soon. I mean I don't even know if that's really what I want."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, I mean maybe one day but I'm the distant future. I mean we are both 28, still got our whole lives ahead of us, and our jobs I mean pretty head to start a family in this profession." She shrugged.
"Yeah I guess your right." Jay said, a little sad by Erins response, but he understood. I mean he had never really thought about it until Adam put it in his head.
