Surprises {L.H.} [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1

        "Kylie!" Kaiden yelled.

         "Yes?" I questioned from the other side of the bathroom door.

         "Can you please get the hell out of the bathroom." Kaiden asked sweetly.

         "Of course!" I said opening the door to my glaring brother. "All you had to do was ask nicely." I giggled and ran into my room before he could do anything to me. This is a daily conversation between us, but it usually ends with a lot more shouting and banging on the door. I just didnt have it in me today.

As I got back to my room, out of breath, i dropped my towel and made my way over to my closet. I walked in and the first thing I did was go to my dresser and pull out some underwear and a bra. Its actually really sad because my mom says as a women, your underwear and bras have to match, but mine never do. I just reach in my drawer and pull out the two articals of clothing.

Next I walked a little further into my closet twoards the back where all my pants were. It was on the chillier side today, well as chilly as it can get in California, so I opted for some cute ripped boyfriend jeans. Then I moved up to where the shirts were and grabbed a black and white cropped top. I then  walked over to my favorite thing in my room. My vanity. It may be vain that my favorite peice of furniture is a mirror with a bunch of makeup surrounding it, but it is. I grabbed a few necklaces to layer on. And grabbed a thick gold bracelet and threw that on as well. To finish the jewelery look I put on a few small rings and was set on jewelery.

Now I was on to makeup. Makeup is probably my favorite part of getting ready. I grabbed some primer,of course, and went to work on my face. By the time I was done I looked like I did everyday with a small winged eyeliner, and my smooth skin and nicely colored in eyebrows. I'm not calling myself the prettiest girl in the world but I've found that if you don't have at least a little confidence in yourself then you're never going to get any prettier.

Now that i was finished with my clothes and makeup it was time for my hair. But when I glanced at the time on my phone I realized that we were supposed to leave in 5 minutes. As if on cue my brother banged on my door and told me he'd be waiting in the car. I hurriedly stood up from my stool, banging my leg on the way.

"Shit!" I yelled as I rushed around my room grabbing everything I needed. I grabbed a pair of sunglasses of my dresser and put them on as I rushed out of the room to the front door. Once I got there, I quickly grabbed my pair of hightop black converse and rushed out of the house and into my Kaiden's car.

"Woah." he said as he glanced at how flustered I was from running.

"Just don't" I growled lowly as I glared at him out of the corners of my eyes.

"Whatever" he said throwing his hands up in a surrener position.

"Just drive!" I proclaimed at I threw on my shoe, cuffing my jeans at the bottom and throwing my hair into a messy bun. I could see Kaiden roll his eyes as he started the car and began diving to school.
