* One Week Later*

I was sitting at the lunch table with Kaiden, his friends and some of mine when I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around. It was Luke.

"Hi" I said smiling up at him just hoping that he would smile back so I could catch a glimpse of his dimple. " What's up?" I asked him. He just looked around and motioned me away from the table. I followed him out into the hallway. I raised an eyebrow at him questionably.

"So. I was wondering if- Do you want to- Maybe with me go-". I placed my hands on his chest to calm him down. He took a deep breath and started again. "So that party, I was wondering if you would maybe want to go with me." He finally asked. I giggled at him.

"Yes, of course I would." I said smiling up at him. He seemed to relax and finally let those precious dimples of his pop out. "Hey, why don't you come sit with me?" I asked him. I don't know why he didn't already sit with me at lunch considering how close we have gotten over this past week or so. He smiled and nodded so i grabbed his hand and led him back to where I was sitting. I grabbed a chair and added it right next to mine before sitting down. Luke followed suit by plopping down right next to me. Once we were both situated I looked up to see everyone at the table had stopped talking and had taken to staring at Luke.

"So Luke" Kaiden started. I just groaned and listened to what he had to say. "What's your favorite football team?" He asked him with raised eyebrows. I looked over to just see Luke sitting there awkwardly before answering.

"Umm, I really like Manchester" He said proudly. We all just looked at him with questioning looks on our faces before Kaiden understood what he was saying. This caused him to bust out laughing, and since he stared laughing everybody followed after him and began letting out their own little laughs/ Except me.

"Good one man. You're funny" Kaiden said smiling. This made Luke smile and look over at me with a look of joy. I just smiled back.

"So Luke. Are you going to the party tomorrow?" My friend Janice asked. She was looking at him with a very flirting look, so I decided to stop her right there.

"Yea, he asked me to go with him actually" I said with a fake smile on my face, glaring at Janice. She just looked at me in surprise before nodding her head and looking down. This made me get a very smug look on my face as I looked over at Luke. He just playfully glared at me as we heard the bell signal that the lunch period was over. Everyone got up from their seats muttering good-byes before going off in their own direction.

****************************************************************************

It was only an hour until Luke would be here to pick me up for the party and I was frantically searching my closet to find something even remotely cute to wear. So far I was having no luck. I was done with everything else. MY hair, my make-up. Everything. I just needed a stupid outfit.

"What about this" I asked Kaiden who was sat on my bed with a very bored expression on his face. I had just come out of my closet with yet another outfit on. Kaiden just gave me a thumbs down. I stomped back into my closet.

"You are no help!" I screamed at him through my closet doors.

"Then I'll just leave! I don't need to help you, ya know!" He screamed back at me.

"Fine! Leave then!" I could hear him stomping his way out of my room and down the hall back to his room. I just sighed and continued looking through my clothes. I suddenly thought of an outfit that has been in the back of my closet, still in the bag, waiting for an occasion to wear it. And not was the perfect occasion.

I ran to the bag and pulled out the black top with the smiley face on it and the American flag shorts. I did a little happy dance before slipping the outfit on. It fit perfectly. Just like I remembered.

'I look damn good if I do say so myself' I thought doing another happy dance. I just wanted to make a good impression on Luke. I really wanted him to like me. I suddenly spotted a daisy, chocker like necklace and threw it around my neck. Just as I finished clipping it I heard the doorbell ring throughout the house. I ran down the stairs to the front door, fixing my hair as I went. I opened the door to see Luke looking as good as ever.

'Holy shit' I thought to myself. I could see Luke checking me out as I did the same to him. He was wearing a plain black shirt with his usual black skinny jeans and converse. I nodded in approval as we met gazes and giggled at each other.

"Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded my head yes and told Kaiden that I would see him at the party. I didn't have to worry about my parents considering they had been on a business trip for about a week and a half. I closed the door behind me as I walked to Luke's car and got in. We mindlessly chattered a we made our way to the party.

When we finally got there Luke and I hopped out of the car and started walking to the front door where there was already people spilling out. I could hear the bass coming from inside the house and started doing a little dance to the beat which made Luke laugh at me. I was excited. I hadn't been to a good party in what felt like forever. As we walked in the front door I felt Luke's arm slip around my waist as we made our way to the kitchen. Once we walked into it everybody cheered and greeted me. Everybody knew me and Kaiden at parties considering we were known as quite the party animals. I just laughed and made my way to the drinks. I grabbed one for me and Luke and started gulping mine down while he just looked at me with wide eyes and a risen eyebrow.

I could tell this was going to be a good night.
