Chapter 13

*Kylie*

I could hear people talking around me but I couldn't make myself open my eyes just yet. So I decided to just lay there and listen until I could make myself open my eyes.

"No. You need to leave. You weren't even there for her. You were to busy 'talking' to Marissa" I could tell it was Kaiden and by his tone I knew he was extremely angry.

"I know, but I like Marissa. She hasn't done anything to me. I have no problem with her, and I'm allowed to have a friend that's a girl." I heard Luke reply back. 

'I can't believe he was talking to Marissa' I thought as I continued to listen to them.

"I can't believe you were talking to Marissa" Kaiden said. I smiled to myself. I love Kaiden. He basically thought exactly like me. We were twins.

"What's the big deal!?" Luke said getting even angrier.

"You don't know what happened. Do you?" I heard Kaiden say quietly. I could tell that Luke would shake his head 'no' because I haven't told him. "Well-" 

I quickly shot up as I heard him start telling Luke. I just glared at Kaiden.

"Don't." Is all I said to him before I turned to Luke with tears building in my eyes. His features immediately softened.

"Kylie-" I cut him off by standing up and turning my back to him.

"Where's Harry?" I heard Luke scoff from behind me. Kaiden glared at Luke over my shoulder before rolling his eyes.

"He's in the office. Him and Niall are there." I just sighed before walking out of the nurse's office.

I heard the office door open behind me. I stood up and whipped around to see Harry and Niall walking out. My eyes started to water as I took in how beat up the both of them were. They were talking but after a second both of them noticed me.

"I'm so so-" I was cut off by being pulled into a pair of arms. The tears were streaming down my face now. I thought it was Harry who was hugging me, but he was too short to be Harry. And once I saw the blonde hair I knew it was Niall. He was crying into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry Kylie. I really didn't mean to push you. I didn't mean to yell at you either. I just really like you-" He cut himself off by letting out a small sob. I quickly wrapped my arms around Niall.

"It's okay Niall. I forgive you. For everything. And I'm sorry for what I did to you." I said grabbing his face and pulling it up so he was forced to look me in the eyes. I then smiled at him and he smiled back. I pulled him back into my arms before we both let go.  I then turned and looked at Harry who was staring at the ground while scratching the back of his neck.

I walked over to him and brought his face up to meet mine before throwing myself into him his arms while still letting tiny tears fall from my eyes.

"Thank you so much Harry" I said into his hair. It was getting a bit long.

"You should know by now Kylie." He pulled me out of his shoulder to look into my eyes. " I would do anything for you" He said before he took a deep breath and started to move closer to me. I knew what he was doing. But I couldn't find it in myself to tell him to stop. He just protected me. I couldn't just be a jerk to him.

So when he got close enough to me I turned my face to the side so he just kissed my cheek. I heard him sigh before pulling away and looking down.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled.

"It's okay" I said and before I could stop him he was already down the hall and around the corner.

"You know. That boy loves you so much. And you don't even realize it" I turned to see Niall still standing there shaking his head at me. I looked down.

"I know."
