IN ANOTHER LIFE.

Special Chapter Two

Pumunta siya sa kuwarto niya and thinking if she’ll come to see HIM. Is she ready? Ano naman ang pag-uusapan nila? Those thoughts keep running in her mind. She doesn’t want to intercede or to have a fight, kaya nga siya na lang ang umiwas kahit hindi nagseselos si Charlene.



Lea wanted Aga to learn to love Charlene again. Kapag nandiyan siya, hindi niya matututunan ‘yun. But now, is she ready? Are they ready? Palibot libot lang siya sa kama and at that moment, naaalala niya pa rin ang nangyari nu’ng sa bookstore.


“Hon, are you alright?” Sabi ni Rob sa kanya and she admitted, Rob really looked like Aga. Kung paano siya alagaan, kung paano siya mahalin. That is why they became very happy and they have been honest with each other.


“I promised you no secrets, right?” Lea said and he just nodded.


“There’s this woman I met at the bookstore and she gave me this.” She handed the tagline that has babes on it and Rob knew it already.


“Is she Aga’s daughter?” Rob said and Lea just nodded. She doesn’t want to know how to make paalam.


“You want to visit him, aren’t you?” Rob said to Lea while looking at her.



“I do, hon. If it’s okay with you.” She tried to smile because she didn't want to start a fight. Because if ever, not including her pregnancy stage, this will be the first time that  they’ll have a fight.



Of course, it is. Hon, Aga is a good friend, tho.” He said. Rob never gets jealous of Aga. They have been friends but they lost contact.
“Are you sure, sweetheart?” Lea said while hugging Rob.


“Yes, hon.” He kissed Lea passionately and Lea responded to it and again, they don’t want to share what happened during that time.



The morning came and maganda ang gising ng dalawa. Sino ba naman hindi gigising ng maganda sa umaga? Knowing that they made love with each other not just once, twice, thrice. Kaya naman pagod na pagod si Lea. This is what she loves about marriage. Dahil could be able to do whatever they want.



“Good morning, Wife.” He said to his wife while she was still sleeping. Rob caressing his wife’s hair na para bang kahapon lang sila kinasal.



“Hhhhmn.” Nagising naman si Lea sa paghahalapos ni Rob ng kanyang mga buhok.


“Pagod?” He chuckled and Lea just smiled.


“Ang hard mo, ah.” Sabi naman ni Lea while chuckling as well.


“That’s me, saying how much I missed my wife.” Sabi naman nito at hinalikan niya sa noo.


“I missed you more, love.” Yumakap naman ito, “Don’t you have work?” Sabi naman nito. Dahil hindi siya sanay na up to now, nandiyan pa din si Rob.


“I do, Hon. I just wanna have a little time for you.” Sabi naman nito.


“Ang sweet naman ng asawa ko.” sabi naman niya at pumatong sa top ng asawa.


“Hon, you want another round?” Sabi naman nito at nakangiti na parang may pagnanasa
They kissed passionately nang biglang kumatok si Aga.



“Ayan, kalandian mo kasi, eh. Mag-bihis ka na nga doon.” Sabi naman ni Lea at nakangiti.


“Ikaw nga ang nanghihingi ng isa pang round diyan, eh.” Sabi naman niya at natatawa at sabay hampas sa kanyang balikat.


“Mom? Dad?” Kumakatok pa rin si Aga at maya maya pa’y bumubukas na ‘yung pintuan.


“Yes, anak?” sabi naman ni Lea.


“Bakit po ang tagal niyo? Naghaharutan na naman kayo, ano?” Rob and Lea were just looking at each other.


“Well, anak, that’s for matured people, okay?” Sabi naman ni Rob sa anak niya.


“Joke lang, Dad! Of course, I want you guys to have quality time. Kaso, napatagal ata.” Sabi naman niya sabay kamot sa ulo at pout. Lea and Rob couldn’t help themselves but to laugh to their child.



“So, what was our breakfast?” Sabi naman ni Lea at pumantay sa anak para mayakap ito.


“Pancakes, bacon, eggs.” He exclaimed. That is his favorite ever since.


“Let’s go now. It seems like our baby’s hungry.” Sabi naman ni Rob at kinarga ito. Lea on the other hand, take a moment to look at them. They have so many similarities.


“What a journey it has been.” She thought after seeing her family was laughing and playing. For awhile, nakalimutan niya ang mga what if’s niya. She feels really contentment for Rob. But there are some lawful days that she’s thinking about, “what could’ve been.”



As they are having breakfast, they really bond every morning and even every weekend. They want to experience Aga that has a happy and complete family like she dreamed of. They even have a routine every weekend.


They actually created bucketlist. Kaya, kahit maraming works every weekend, they still manage to have time for their child.



“Nga pala Hon, when will you visit Aga?” Sabi naman ni Rob and napatingin dito si Lea. On her mind, “Oo nga pala.”


“Probably, later. Ako na muna mag-isa.” Sabi naman ni Lea while eating.


“how about this little one?” Sabi naman ni Rob at sabay nguso naman sa direction of their child.


“I’ll have a vacation to Abu, remember? She told me that she'll fetch me up later after my School.” Sabi naman niya at sabay mag-pout.



What a timing. She thought, because in reality, she was afraid of visiting Aga. What if bumalik ang feelings niya? What if there are some cases na mangyari na ikakasira ng marriage niya? She really is worried. Kumpleto at masaya na siya sa pamilya niya ngayon even if  there are lots of what if’s going on, on her head.


“So, since wala akong aalagaan mamaya, would that be okay for the two of you that I’ll go there?” Lea looked to the both of them, and she saw Rob just nodding his head. Alam naman kasi nito kung saan ito pupunta.


“Where are you going, Mommy?” Sabi naman niya sa Mommy niya.


“Visiting a friend, sweetheart.” Sabi naman nito sa kanyang anak.


“Will Ate Carmen be there?” Sabi naman niya.


“Who’s Carmen?” Sabi naman bigla ni Rob kay Lea.


“His daughter.” Sabi naman ni Lea at nag-aalangan na baka ito ang pag-simulan ng away.



“Ohh, hon, it’s okay. I saw your face. I love you. Tell me, when you need someone to fetch you, alright?” Sabi naman ni Rob at hinalikan niya si Lea sa noo at napapikit lang si Lea while Rob kissing her forehead. She really loves the feeling of it.
